Claims (14)
- 第1電極板と第2電極板とがセパレータを介在して備わる電極組立体と、
柔軟な材質で形成され、少なくとも内面が絶縁されて前記電極組立体が収容される収容部を備え、前記収容部のエッジに沿って面状に重なって密封する密封部を有し、前記密封部は、直状に延びる第1密封部及び当該第1密封部の両側から屈曲して更に直状に延びる第2及び第3密封部によってコ字状の平面で形成され、前記第1密封部は、前記電極組立体の電極タップが外側に引出されるとともに収容部と第1密封部の直状の部位の間の境界が延びた境界線よりも前記電極タップが引出される縁部側に備えられ、前記第2及び第3密封部は、前記境界線を挟んで前記第1密封部の両側に備えられるパウチケースと、
前記電極タップに連結され、前記第1密封部が形成する面と前記収容部が形成する面との間の空間の第1密封部の外側に載置され、電極タップの引出される側の側面または前記第1密封部の面外方向である上面に電気回路または電子部品が設けられる保護回路モジュールと、を含むものであって、
前記第2及び第3密封部は、前記保護回路モジュールが設置される側に前記電極組立体の側面に向かって少なくとも1回折曲げられ、
前記第1密封部の第2及び第3密封部と近接する両側に備わって前記コ字状の密封部の前記第1密封部の両側から前記第2及び第3密封部に向かって屈曲する各々の角部が除かれた短絡防止部の、前記保護回路モジュールの電気回路または電子部品が設けられる面に対応する側の端部が、前記電気回路または電子部品が電極タップの引出される側の側面に設けられる場合には前記第2及び第3密封部と収容部との境界が延びた境界線よりも前記第1密封部の中心部側、前記電気回路または電子部品が前記密封部の面外方向である上面に設けられる場合には前記第1密封部と収容部との境界が延びた境界線よりも第2及び第3密封部の中心部側に位置することを特徴とするパウチ型2次電池。 - 前記短絡防止部は、前記角部が切断されたカッティング部であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記カッティング部のうち少なくとも一つは、傾斜して備わることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記カッティング部のうち少なくとも一つは、曲率部を有するように備わることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記曲率部は、一つの円弧状に備わることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記曲率部は、異なる半径を有する部分が少なくとも2つ以上備わることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記カッティング部は、その一端が前記第2及び第3密封部に位置することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記カッティング部は、その一端が前記パウチケースの収容部に対応する位置に備わることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記カッティング部と前記収容部間の最小距離は、前記収容部内の圧力が2〜20気圧である時に破裂されうる距離であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記カッティング部と前記収容部間の最小距離は、前記収容部内の圧力が4〜8気圧である時に破裂されうる距離であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記短絡防止部は、前記角部が前記収容部と反対の外側方向に折曲げられた折曲部であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記折曲部のうち少なくとも一つは、傾斜して備わることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記第1密封部が形成される側と反対側の前記第2及び第3密封部の端部には切断された形状の補助カッティング部がさらに備わることを特徴とする請求項2〜12のうち何れか一項に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
- 前記パウチケースは外装ケースに収納され、前記補助カッティング部は前記外装ケースの内面に対応する形状に備わることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のパウチ型2次電池。
