Description

GI管または他の内部体腔において実施される、ほとんどの最小侵襲性外科手順は、内視鏡の補助によって達成される。代表的な内視鏡は、照射チャネルおよび画像捕捉チャネルを有し、これらの両方が、光ファイバーの束から作製される。照射チャネルは、患者の内部体腔を照射するための光源に結合され、そして照射チャネルは、スコープの遠位端のレンズによって生成される画像を、接続されたカメラユニットまたはディスプレイデバイスに伝達する。ほとんどの内視鏡はまた、作業チャネルを有し、このチャネルを通して、細長処置/外科デバイスが通され得る。この処置デバイスは、通常、その近位端にハンドルまたは制御器を有し、これは、医師によって、何らかの外科手順を実施するために操作される。

本発明の1つの実施形態に従う内視鏡画像化システム10は、内視鏡シース12を備え、このシースは、その遠位端14〜目的の組織サンプルへと光を発光する。この組織から反射された光が、内視鏡シース12の遠位端の画像化デバイス16によって受信される。画像化デバイス16からの信号は、内視鏡シース12に結合されたコンピュータおよび画像プロセッサ20によって受信される。コンピュータおよび画像プロセッサ20は、組織の画像を生成し、この画像は、医師に対して、ディスプレイ端末22上で示される。
Claims (12)
- 画像化内視鏡であって、以下:
近位端、遠位端および内部に配置された作業チャネルを有する内視鏡シースであって、該作業チャネルは、該近位端から該遠位端まで延びる、内視鏡シース;
少なくとも1つの固体光源であって、内部身体組織を照射するために、該シースの該遠位端に配置された、少なくとも1つの固体光源;
該シースの該遠位端に配置された画像センサ;ならびに
該シースの該遠位端を選択的に配置するための偏向デバイスであって、該偏向デバイスは、以下:
近位端および遠位端、ならびに該遠位端を移動させるための操縦機構を備える細長シャフト、
を備える、偏向デバイス、
を備え、該細長シャフトが、該内視鏡の作業チャネル内にフィットし、そして該シースの該遠位端に係合し、その結果、該偏向デバイスの該遠位端が移動される場合、該シースの該遠位端もまた移動され、そして
該内視鏡シースの前記遠位端が、形状保持機構を有する、画像化内視鏡。 - 前記偏向デバイスにおける前記操縦機構が、1つ以上のプルワイヤを備える、請求項1に記載の画像化内視鏡。
- 前記内視鏡シースの前記遠位端が、前記近位端より可撓性である、請求項1に記載の画像化内視鏡。
- 前記内視鏡シースの前記近位端が、強化編組を備える、請求項3に記載の画像化内視鏡。
- 前記画像センサが、光検出器を備える、請求項1に記載の画像化内視鏡。
- 前記画像センサが、CCDアレイを備える、請求項1に記載の画像化内視鏡。
- 前記形状保持機構が、屈曲可能な金属部材である、請求項1に記載の画像化内視鏡。
- 内部身体組織を画像化するためのシステムであって、以下:
使い捨て内視鏡シースであって、該内視鏡シースは、近位端、遠位端、該近位端から該遠位端まで延びる作業チャネル、該遠位端における、該身体組織を照射するために選択的に作動される複数の発光ダイオード、および該身体組織の画像を生成するための画像センサを有する、使い捨て内視鏡シース;ならびに
偏向カテーテルであって、該偏向カテーテルは、近位端、遠位端および1つ以上のプルワイヤを有し、該プルワイヤは、該遠位端を移動させ、該偏向カテーテルは、該内視鏡の遠位先端を移動させるように、該シースの該作業チャネルに選択的に挿入される、偏向カテーテル、
を備え、
該シースが、形状保持機構をその遠位端に備える、システム。 - 使い捨て画像化内視鏡であって、以下:
内視鏡シースであって、近位端、遠位端、および該近位端から該遠位端まで延びる少なくとも1つの管腔を有する、内視鏡シース;
該内視鏡シースの該遠位端における複数の発光ダイオードであって、内部身体組織を照射するように選択的に作動される、複数の発光ダイオード;ならびに
該内視鏡シースの該遠位端に配置された画像センサであって、組織サンプルの画像を表す電気信号を伝達する、画像センサ、
を備え;
該内視鏡シースの該遠位端は、該内視鏡シースの該少なくとも1つの管腔内に挿入可能な偏向デバイスによって移動可能な形状保持機構をさらに備え、
該偏向デバイスは、細長シャフトを備え、該細長シャフトは、近位端および遠位端、ならびに該細長シャフトの該遠位端を移動させるための操縦機構を有し、
該細長シャフトの該遠位端は、該内視鏡シースの該少なくとも1つの管腔内にフィットし、そして該内視鏡シースの該遠位端に係合し、その結果、該偏向デバイスの該遠位端の移動が、該内視鏡シースの該遠位端の移動を引き起こし、

- 前記形状保持機構が、前記シースの前記遠位端に隣接する可撓性ステントである、請求項9に記載の使い捨て画像化内視鏡。
- 患者の内部体腔から画像を捕捉するためのシステムであって、以下:
内視鏡シースであって、近位端、遠位端、作業チャネル、該内視鏡シースの該遠位端で光を生成する複数の発光ダイオード、および該内部体腔の画像を生成するための画像センサを有する、内視鏡シース;ならびに
偏向カテーテルであって、近位端および遠位端、ならびに該偏向カテーテルの該遠位端を移動させるための操縦機構を有し、該偏向カテーテルは、該内視鏡シースの作業チャネルに選択的に挿入され、そして該内視鏡シースの該遠位端を移動させるように構成されている、偏向カテーテル、
を備え、
該内視鏡シースが、形状保持機構をその遠位端に備える、システム。
