Description

となり、透過率τの上限が求まる。なお、上記の計算では、情報層における散乱率を考慮せず、透過した第一の波長の光2の全てが戻り光となった場合のものである。散乱率も考慮すれば、より設計ルールが緩和される。なお、本発明の記録媒体1において、波長選択反射層14の設計ルールを緩和せずに、従来と同様の条件を採用した場合でも、後述する光吸収層13が存在するので、波長選択反射層14の不良によって第一の波長の光2の一部が透過しても、その影響を緩和することができ、信頼性を高めることができる。
Claims (9)
- 基板と、
第一の波長の光によって形成される干渉縞を記録するホログラム記録層と、
前記基板と前記ホログラム記録層との間に設けられ、前記第一の波長の光を反射し、第二の波長の光を透過する波長選択反射層と、
前記基板と前記波長選択反射層との間に設けられ、前記第一の波長の光を吸収する光吸収層と、
前記基板と前記光吸収層との間に設けられ、前記第二の波長の光によって情報の記録又は再生が行われる情報層と
を有することを特徴とするホログラム記録媒体。 - 前記光吸収層は、前記第一の波長の光に対する吸収率が0.9以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のホログラム記録媒体。
- 前記波長選択反射層は、前記第一の波長の光の反射率が0.9以上であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のホログラム記録媒体。
- 前記ホログラム記録層と前記波長選択反射層との間に設けられたギャップ層を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のホログラム記録媒体。
- 前記基板と前記情報層との間に設けられた第二の情報層と、
前記情報層と前記第二の情報層との間に設けられ、前記第二の波長の光を反射し、第三の波長の光を透過する第二の波長選択反射層とを有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のホログラム記録媒体。 - 前記情報層は、情報がピットによって記録されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のホログラム記録媒体。
- 基板上に情報層を形成し、
前記情報層上に第一の波長の光を吸収する光吸収層を形成し、
前記光吸収層上に前記第一の波長の光を反射し、第二の波長の光を透過する波長選択反射層を形成し、
前記波長選択反射層上に前記第一の波長の光によって形成される干渉縞を記録するホログラム記録層を形成することを特徴とするホログラム記録媒体の製造方法。 - 前記波長選択反射層は真空蒸着法によって形成することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のホログラム記録媒体の製造方法。
- 前記情報層は、前記基板表面に凹凸形状を形成することによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載のホログラム記録媒体の製造方法。
