Claims (10)
- 光源と、
前記光源からの光の一部を用いて、第一の偏光方向の物体光を生成する物体光生成手段と、
前記光源からの光の他の一部を用いて、前記第一の偏光方向と直交する第二の偏光方向の参照光を生成する参照光生成手段と、
前記記録媒体のホログラム記録層の表面側から前記物体光及び前記参照光を照射する照射手段と、
前記ホログラム記録層の裏面側に配置され、前記ホログラム記録層を透過した物体光及び参照光の何れか一方だけを前記ホログラム記録層に向けて反射させる偏光選択反射手段と、
前記ホログラム記録層と前記偏光選択反射手段との間に配置され、前記偏光選択反射手段によって反射された前記物体光及び参照光の一方を前記ホログラム記録層に到達するまでの間に、前記ホログラム記録層を透過した時とは直交する偏光方向に変換する偏光変換手段とを有し、
前記ホログラム記録層において、前記物体光及び参照光の一方と、前記記録媒体の表面から入射する物体光及び参照光の他方とが干渉することにより形成される反射型ホログラムを前記ホログラム記録層に記録することを特徴とするホログラム作成装置。 - 前記照射手段は、前記記録媒体に対し、前記参照光を略平行光として照射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のホログラム作成装置。
- 前記参照光生成手段は、複数の参照光を生成し、
前記複数の参照光は、進行方向が異なる複数の略平行光として前記ホログラム記録層内を通過することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のホログラム作成装置。 - 前記参照光生成手段の一部は、前記ホログラム記録層の裏面側に配置されており、当該参照光生成手段の一部において、複数の参照光が生成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のホログラム作成装置。
- 前記参照光生成手段は、前記物体光生成手段の少なくとも一部としても機能する空間光変調器を有し、前記空間光変調器における物体光の画像情報が表示される領域外に、複数の参照光となる点光源が表示されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のホログラム作成装置。
- 前記照射手段は、対物レンズを含み、前記記録媒体に対し、前記物体光のフーリエ変換像を照射することを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のホログラム作成装置。
- 前記偏光選択反射手段は、ワイヤーグリッド偏光子であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載のホログラム作成装置。
- 前記偏光選択反射手段は、コレステリック液晶フィルムであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載のホログラム作成装置。
- 前記ホログラム記録層に記録される前記反射型ホログラムは、再生用参照光が照射されることにより3次元画像が再生されるホログラムの一部であり、
前記反射型ホログラムを記録媒体の平面方向に繰り返し記録することにより、全体として一つの3次元画像が再生されるホログラムを記録することを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載のホログラム作成装置を用いたホログラムプリンタ。 - 前記物体光は、再生される3次元画像から3次元部分画像を計算して、そこから計算された画像情報を担持していることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のホログラムプリンタ。
