河田善正他:"多層膜構造を有する有機記録媒体を用いた3次元光メモリ"、Optics Japan2000講演予稿集pp.95−96(2000年)
まず、本発明の実施の形態1の情報記録媒体が、図1を用いて、座標軸を図のようにとって詳細に説明される。図1は、本発明の実施の形態1における情報記録媒体の構成と信号の記録/再生を示す説明図である。この図1では、第1の反射光低減部として再生光を吸収する光学特性を有する光吸収部が用いられている。
次に、本発明の実施の形態2の情報記録媒体について、図2を用いて、上記実施の形態1と異なる点が中心に説明される。図2は、本発明の実施の形態2における情報記録媒体の構成と信号の記録/再生を示す説明図である。この図2では、実施の形態1と同様に、第1の反射光低減部として再生光を吸収する光学特性を有する光吸収部が用いられている。
次に、本発明の実施の形態3の情報記録媒体について、図3を用いて、上記実施の形態1と異なる点が中心に説明される。図3は、本発明の実施の形態3における情報記録媒体の構成と信号の記録/再生を示す説明図である。この図3では、実施の形態1と同様に、第1の反射光低減部として再生光を吸収する光学特性を有する光吸収部が用いられている。
次に、本発明の実施の形態4の情報記録媒体について、図4を用いて、上記実施の形態3と異なる点が中心に説明される。図4は、本発明の実施の形態4における情報記録媒体の構成と信号の記録/再生を示す説明図である。この図4では、第1の反射光低減部として再生光を吸収する光学特性を有する光吸収部が用いられている。
次に、本発明の実施の形態5の情報記録媒体について、図5を用いて、上記実施の形態3と異なる点が中心に説明される。図5は、本発明の実施の形態5における情報記録媒体の構成と信号の記録/再生を示す説明図である。この図5では、第1の反射光低減部として再生光を吸収する光学特性を有する光吸収部が用いられている。
次に、本発明の実施の形態6の情報記録媒体について、図6を用いて、上記実施の形態2と異なる点が中心に説明される。図6は、本発明の実施の形態6における情報記録媒体の構成と信号の記録/再生を示す説明図である。この図6では、実施の形態2と異なり、第1の反射光低減部として再生光の反射率を低減する光学特性を有する反射率低減部が用いられている。
次に、本発明の光学情報記録再生装置が説明される。図7に示されるように、本実施の形態の光学情報記録再生装置40は、点線で囲まれた光ピックアップ部38を有している。この光ピックアップ部38には、記録用光源20aと再生用光源20bのそれぞれ波長が異なる2種類の光源を設けられている。そして、光源20a、20bから情報記録媒体14までの光路中に、ビームスプリッタ27a、27b、コリメータレンズ28、立ち上げミラー32、波長板31、球面収差補正素子24、対物レンズ6が配置されている。復路のビームスプリッタ27bから光検出器30の光路には、フォーカス/トラック誤差信号検出素子26、検出レンズ23、情報記録媒体14の層間クロストークを小さくするピンホール25が配置されている。
Claims (20)
- 基板と、前記基板上に形成された記録層を有する記録部と、前記基板側からの再生光の反射光を低減する第1の反射光低減部とを備え、
前記記録部は、記録光により前記記録層の光学定数を変化させることによって記録ピットを3次元的に記録可能であり、
前記第1の反射光低減部は、前記記録部の再生光の入射側とは反対側に形成されると共に、前記再生光を吸収する光学特性を有する光吸収部を含み、前記光吸収部は、前記基板と前記記録部との間に形成された光吸収層を含み、前記記録層はトラックガイド溝のない記録層であり、前記光吸収層と前記基板との間にトラックガイド層を有し、前記光吸収層は再生光とは波長が異なるトラックガイド照射光とトラックガイド反射光を透過する光学特性を有し、
前記光吸収部は、前記基板の再生光が入射する側とは反対側に形成された光吸収層を含む情報記録媒体。 - 前記第1の反射光低減部は、前記再生光の反射率を低減する光学特性を有する反射率低減部を含み、前記反射率低減部が、前記基板の再生光の入射側とは反対側に形成されている請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記記録部は、記録層と中間層とが交互に複数積層された構造を有する請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記記録部の全体が記録層である請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記第1の反射光低減部は、さらに前記基板側からの記録光の反射光を低減する光学特性を有する請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記記録部の再生光が入射する側に、保護層をさらに具備する請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記光吸収部は、前記再生光を吸収する光学特性を有する光吸収材料または前記光吸収材料と樹脂との混合物を含有する請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記樹脂は、ポリカーボネート、PMMA、ノルボルネン樹脂及びシクロオレフィン樹脂から選ばれる少なくとも1種である請求項7に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記光吸収材料は、炭素材料、有機色素、染料、顔料及び半導体粒子から選ばれる少なくとも1種である請求項7に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記記録層は、フォトポリマー、もしくはジアリールエテン及びその誘導体の1種の記録材料を含有する請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記記録層は、さらに前記記録光及び再生光に対して略透明な樹脂を含有する請求項10に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記記録層は、さらに前記記録光により前記記録材料を感光させる波長の光を発光する蛍光材料を含有する請求項10に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記光学定数は、屈折率である請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記記録層への記録が、2光子吸収によって行われる請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体を記録再生する光学情報記録再生装置であって、
記録光を出射する光源と、
再生光を出射する光源と、
前記光源から出射される記録光及び再生光を前記情報記録媒体に集光する対物レンズと、
前記情報記録媒体から反射される光を検出する光検出器と、
前記対物レンズとは反対側の前記情報記録媒体と対向する面に、前記情報記録媒体を透過する再生光の反射光を低減する第2の反射光低減部とを備える光学情報記録再生装置。 - 前記情報記録媒体が、基板側からの再生光の反射光を低減する第1の反射光低減部を、前記記録部の再生光の入射側とは反対側に備える情報記録媒体である請求項15に記載の光学情報記録再生装置。
- 前記第2の反射光低減部は、前記光源から情報記録媒体に入射する再生光の光軸に対して傾いた面を有する請求項15に記載の光学情報記録再生装置。
- 前記第2の反射光低減部は、少なくとも再生光を吸収する光学特性を有する光吸収体を含む請求項15に記載の光学情報記録再生装置。
- 前記記録層への記録は、パルス幅が100フェムト秒から10ナノ秒のパルス光を発する半導体レーザ光源によって行われる請求項15に記載の光学情報記録再生装置。
- 前記記録層への記録は、2光子吸収によって行われる請求項15に記載の光学情報記録再生装置。
