Description
Claims (11)
- 内燃機関(1)の排気ライン(4)に設けられる排気ガス浄化装置(10)と、
前記排気ライン(4)の流れ断面を調節するために前記排気ガス浄化装置(10)の上流の前記排気ライン(4)に設けられる調整可能断面調整部材(8、9)と、
前記内燃機関(1)のシリンダ(12)に割り当てられた少なくとも1つのスロットル弁(11)を有し、
エンジンブレーキモードにおいて、前記スロットル弁(11)が開放され、前記断面調整部材(8、9)が、流れ断面を縮小させる閉鎖位置に動く、エンジンブレーキモードにおける内燃機関の運転方法において、 排気ガスの温度と相互に関連する特性変数(TCat)が限界値(TLimit)を超えた場合に、前記スロットル弁(11)の開放を継続しながら、前記断面調整部材(8、9)を一時的に開放し、その後前記閉鎖位置に再び調整することを特徴とする運転方法。 - 前記特性変数として、触媒コンバーターの入口温度(TCat)が用いられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運転方法。
- 前記断面調整部材(8、9)が、前記特性変数(TCat)が閾値(TThreshold)未満に降下した後に、再び前記閉鎖位置に調整されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の運転方法。
- 前記断面調整部材(8、9)が、最小の時間(Δtmin)、開放されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
- 前記断面調整部材(8、9)が、予め定義された時間(Δtmax)が終了した後に、前記閉鎖位置に再び調整されることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
- 前記断面調整部材(8、9)が、車速が予め定義された値(Δvmin)だけ増加するまで開放されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
- 前記断面調整部材(8、9)の一時的な開放されている際に、前記スロットル弁(11)も開放されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
- 前記断面調整部材が、エンジンブレーキフラップ(9)であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
- 前記排気ライン(4)に配置される排気タービン(3)と、吸気ライン(6)に配置されるコンプレッサ(5)を有する排気ターボ過給機(2)が設けられることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
- 前記断面調整部材が、前記排気タービン(3)の有効タービン入口断面を可変調整するための可変ベーン機構(8)であり、エンジンブレーキモードにおいて、前記可変ベーン機構(8)が、前記断面を縮小させる閉鎖位置に動くことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の運転方法。
- 前記断面調整部材の一時的な開放が、運転者に表示されることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
