Claims (5)
- 吸気、圧縮、燃焼および排気ストロークを提供するように往復運動するピストンを有する内燃機関を作動する方法であって、排気ガス再循環のための排気弁の開放と吸気弁の開放とを重ねることが実行される方法において、
前記エンジンがポジテイブパワー作動にあるとき、排気ガス再循環のための前記排気弁の開放と前記吸気弁の開放との重なりを増す段階と、
前記エンジンがエンジンブレーキ作動にあるとき、排気ガス再循環のための前記排気弁の開放と前記吸気弁の開放との重なりを減少させる段階と、
圧縮ストロークの半分以上が完了した後排気ガス再循環を実行する段階とを含むことを特徴とする内燃機関を作動する方法。 - 前記重なりを増大する段階は、前記吸気弁が開放している時間のある部分の間排気ガス再循環全体を実行することを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- ポジテイブパワーの間における内燃機関においてNOx制御を行なう方法であって、ポジテイブパワーのエンジンの作動に応答して排気ガス再循環を始めさせ、
前記圧縮ストロークの半分以上が完了した後まで、前記排気ガス再循環を実行し、および
エンジンブレーキのエンジン作動に応答して排気ガス再循環を停止する段階を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記排気ガス循環が吸気弁の開放するときのある部分中に発生することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記排気ガス循環が排気弁開放の開閉時間および開放の大きさを変更することによって調整されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
