Description
本発明は、金型ブロックを移動することによって形成される金型トンネルを備えるパイプ成形システムであって、金型ブロックを交換する必要なくパイプの形状を変えることができるパイプ成形システムに関する。
成形経路に沿って移動して、移動金型トンネルとして知られているものを形成する金型ブロックを使用するタイプの従来のパイプ成形装置では、パイプの形状を変える唯一の方法は、パイプを形成する金型ブロック部を交換することである。これは、これらの金型ブロック部が、パイプの形成に必要な真空開口部、冷却チャネル等の特徴部を備えるため、金型ブロック部自体が極めて高価であることから非常に費用がかかる。しかしながら、移動金型トンネルを使用する既知のパイプ形成装置によれば、様々な形状および寸法のパイプを製造するためには、交換可能な金型ブロック部を備えることが必要である。
本発明は、成形システムの全ての金型ブロック部を交換する必要なく、押出成形されたパイプの形状を変えることができる成形システムを提供する。
図1は、全体を1で示すパイプ成形装置を示す。このパイプ成形装置は、溶融プラスチックを、押出機ダイ5のプラスチック流路に通して、全体を7で示す移動金型トンネルへ供給する押出機3を備える。移動金型トンネルは、金型トンネルの各側にある複数の金型ブロック部9によって形成される。これらの金型ブロック部は、形状面すなわち波形面を有し、金型トンネル内に位置するダイ装置の2つのチャネル口6aおよび6bから流れてくるプラスチックを受け取る。チャネル口6aから流れ出るプラスチックは、金型ブロックの面にある溝へ流れて、パイプの波形外壁を形成する。チャネル口6bから流れ出るプラスチックは、パイプを貫通する中央穴を画定するパイプ内壁を形成する。パイプ内壁の溶融プラスチックは、成形されて、金型トンネル内部にある冷却プラグ11によって冷却される。
Claims (4)
- 成形経路に沿って移動して、パイプの外径を決定する波形部を有する外壁と前記パイプを貫通するパイプ穴の周りの内壁とを有する二重壁プラスチックパイプを形成する複数の金型ブロック(9)を備える成形システム(1)であって、
各々の前記金型ブロックは、前記パイプの形状を決定する形状面を有し、
前記形状面は、溝、突起取り付け部、突起形成部材を備え、
前記突起取り付け部(12)は前記溝に隣接して設けられるとともに、前記突起取り付け部(12)は前記突起形成部材(15,23)を交換可能に収容するように、前記溝(13)および前記突起取り付け部(12)は前記金型ブロックに一体に形成され、
第1および第2の面形状部間で形状を再構成するために、異なる長さを有する前記突起形成部材(15,23)を交換することにより、前記パイプの外径を変えずに前記波形部の深さおよび前記パイプを貫通する前記穴の直径を変更可能であって、
各々の突起形成部における各々の金型ブロックは、前記突起形成部の端部に対向し、前記突起取付け部材上において前記突起形成部材を固定させる取り付けブラケットを備え、
前記取り付けブラケットを緩めるとともに取り外し、金型ブロックから前記突起形成部材を金型ブロックから取り外すことにより、前記突起形成部材は金型ブロックから取り外し可能であって、
金型の形状面における突起取り付け部の凹部(10)をさらに備え、前記取り付けブラケットは凹部(10)へ嵌入するとともに選択された突起形成部材(15,23)の凹部へさらに嵌入し、さらに前記取り付けブラケットは、機械的固定部材(41)によって突起取り付け部(12)において固定する成形システム。 - 金型の形状面における溝および突起取り付け部の下方の金型内部に真空チャネルを備える請求項1に記載の成形システム。
- 金型の形状面における溝および突起取り付け部の下方の金型内部に冷却チャネルを備える請求項1に記載の成形システム。
- 突起形成部材(15)が突起取り付け部(12)に装着された際に成形システムにおいて使用される第1の冷却プラグ(11)と、
突起形成部材(23)が突起取り付け部(12)に装着された際に第1の冷却プラグの代わりに成形システムにおいて使用される第2の冷却プラグ(25)とを備え、
突起形成部材(23)は、突起形成部材(15)よりも長く、冷却プラグ(25)の直径は冷却プラグ(11)の直径よりも短い請求項1に記載の成形システム。
