Description
磁極であるS極とN極が交互に複数配列された環状の磁気エンコーダであって、
磁極の配列パターンは、
周方向に一定間隔で設けられる複数の指標部と、
指標部と指標部の間にそれぞれ備えられる複数の標準ピッチ部と、
全ての標準ピッチ部内、または一つの標準ピッチ部を除いた他の標準ピッチ部内にそれぞれ備えられ、かつ各標準ピッチ部に対して異なる態様で備えられる複数の特殊ピッチ部とから構成されており、
指標部と標準ピッチ部と特殊ピッチ部では、磁極の周方向の幅がそれぞれ異なっていることを特徴とする。
磁極であるS極とN極が交互に複数配列された環状の磁気エンコーダであって、
磁極の配列がいずれも同一の複数の配列パターンが並んだ第1のトラックと、
磁極の配列がいずれも異なる複数の配列パターンが並んだ第2のトラックと、
を備える磁気エンコーダにおいて、
前記第1のトラックにおける磁極の配列パターンは、先頭に設けられる指標部と、該指標部の後に設けられる磁極数の等しい標準ピッチ部とから構成され、指標部と標準ピッチ部では、磁極の周方向の幅がそれぞれ異なっていることを特徴とする。

目の指標1dのパルスを得るまでのB間の所定パターン1bの領域において、微細ピッチパターン1cのパルスに基づいて、所定パターン1b内における微細ピッチパターン1cの位置情報が得られる。この位置情報によって、読み取った所定パターン1bがどの回転角に対応するものであるかを特定できる。この場合には、90°〜135°の所定パターン1bであると分かる。したがって、2番目の指標のパルスを得た位置が135°であることを特定できる。
検出される。従って、起動時であっても回転角(絶対位置)の検出が可能である。

(参考例)
間の切り換えパルス数は1回である。これにより、第1のトラック10aでLoからHiに切り換わるパルスを得た位置が180°であることが分かる。
Claims (6)
- 磁極であるS極とN極が交互に複数配列された環状の磁気エンコーダであって、
磁極の配列パターンは、
周方向に一定間隔で設けられる複数の指標部と、
指標部と指標部の間にそれぞれ備えられる複数の標準ピッチ部と、
全ての標準ピッチ部内、または一つの標準ピッチ部を除いた他の標準ピッチ部内にそれぞれ備えられ、かつ各標準ピッチ部に対して異なる態様で備えられる複数の特殊ピッチ部とから構成されており、
指標部と標準ピッチ部と特殊ピッチ部では、磁極の周方向の幅がそれぞれ異なっていることを特徴とする磁気エンコーダ。 - 各標準ピッチ部に対して、特殊ピッチ部の配置される位置が異なっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 各標準ピッチ部に対して、特殊ピッチ部における磁極の数が異なっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 磁極であるS極とN極が交互に複数配列された環状の磁気エンコーダであって、
磁極の配列がいずれも同一の複数の配列パターンが並んだ第1のトラックと、
磁極の配列がいずれも異なる複数の配列パターンが並んだ第2のトラックと、
を備える磁気エンコーダにおいて、
前記第1のトラックにおける磁極の配列パターンは、先頭に設けられる指標部と、該指標部の後に設けられる磁極数の等しい標準ピッチ部とから構成され、指標部と標準ピッチ部では、磁極の周方向の幅がそれぞれ異なっていることを特徴とする磁気エンコーダ。 - 前記第1のトラックによる出力と第2のトラックによる出力との比較に基づいて、回転角の検出がなされることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 前記第2のトラックにおける磁極の配列パターンは、各配列パターンに含まれる磁極の数が異なることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
