Claims (7)
- 光源と、
前記光源から出射した光が入射する導光板と、
前記導光板から出射した光を液晶表示パネルに提供する光学シートと、
を備え、
前記導光板の第1の面には、第1方向に対して略平行に配列された複数の第1のV溝が形成され、
前記導光板の第2の面には、第2方向に対して略平行に配列された複数の第2のV溝が形成され、
前記導光板の第1の面または第2の面のうち少なくとも一面には、複数のドットで形成されたドットパターンが形成され、
前記第1のV溝は、0.001〜0.01mmの深さを有し、
前記第1のV溝は、0.03〜0.3mmの間隔を有して配列され、
前記第1のV溝を構成する第1面の傾斜角は0.5〜10゜であり、
前記第1のV溝を構成する第2面の傾斜角は10〜30゜を有し、
前記第2のV溝は、0.0005〜0.01mmの深さを有し、
前記第2のV溝は、0.01〜0.1mmの間隔を有して配列され、
前記第2のV溝を構成する第1面の傾斜角は90〜120゜であり、
前記第2のV溝を構成する第2面の傾斜角は30〜45゜であり、
前記ドットパターンは、0.005〜0.05mmの半径を有する略半球形状に形成され、前記第1のV溝または前記第2のV溝を形成する面からの高さが0.001〜0.01mmとなるように形成される
ことを特徴とする、液晶表示装置のバックライトユニット。 - 前記光源は、冷陰極管およびLEDのいずれか1つから構成される
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置のバックライトユニット。 - 前記導光板は、アクリルおよびポリカーボネートのうちの一つを含む群から選ばれた樹脂からなる
ことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の液晶表示装置のバックライトユニット。 - 前記第1方向と前記第2方向は、互いに直交する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置のバックライトユニット。 - 前記ドットパターンは、前記導光板上に不均一に配置される
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置のバックライトユニット。 - 前記液晶表示パネルの単位画素当たりの前記ドットパターンの数は、前記光源から遠くなるほど減少するように配置される
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置のバックライトユニット。 - 前記導光板の背面に放出される光を前記導光板に入射させるように反射する反射シートをさらに含む
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置のバックライトユニット。
