Claims (6)
- ポンプインペラが設けられエンジン出力軸により駆動されるインペラシェルと、前記ポンプインペラに対向して中空のメインシャフトに連結されるタービンランナとを有し、エンジン出力を増幅して前記メインシャフトに伝達するトルクコンバータであって、
前記エンジン出力軸が取り付けられる内側円板部と、当該内側円板部から前記ポンプインペラに向けて軸方向に延びる筒状のドラム部と、当該ドラム部から径方向に延び前記インペラシェルとの間でコンバータ室を形成する外側円板部とを有するフロントカバーと、
ロックアップダンパを介して前記メインシャフトに連結され、前記ドラム部に装着されたドライブプレートと係合するドリブンプレートが装着されるクラッチハブと、
前記ドラム部内に軸方向に移動自在に装着され、前記内側円板部との間で係合油室を形成するロックアップピストンと、
前記外側円板部に設けられ、前記ドライブプレートおよび前記ドリブンプレートを収容するクラッチ室と、前記ロックアップダンパを収容する前記コンバータ室とを仕切る隔壁とを有することを特徴とするトルクコンバータ。
- 請求項1記載のトルクコンバータにおいて、前記クラッチ室に連通する潤滑油路と、前記係合油室に連通するロックアップ油路とを前記メインシャフトに形成することを特徴とするトルクコンバータ。
- 請求項1または2記載のトルクコンバータにおいて、前記クラッチ室と前記コンバータ室とを連通するオリフィスを前記隔壁に形成することを特徴とするトルクコンバータ。
- 請求項1または2記載のトルクコンバータにおいて、前記クラッチ室に潤滑油を供給するオイル供給路と、前記クラッチ室内の潤滑油を排出する排出路とを前記メインシャフトに形成することを特徴とするトルクコンバータ。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のトルクコンバータにおいて、前記フロントカバーを、前記隔壁および前記外側円板部を形成する部材と、前記内側円板部および前記ドラム部を形成する部材とを溶接して形成することを特徴とするトルクコンバータ。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のトルクコンバータにおいて、前記ドラム部の外側に前記エンジン出力軸により連結されるロータを有する電動モータを配置することを特徴とするトルクコンバータ。
