Claims (7)
- 燃料を内燃機関のコモンレール燃料容積室に供給するように構成されたユニットポンプ(8)を備えたコモンレール燃料供給システムにおいて、前記ユニットポンプ(8)は、
ポンプハウジング(16)に設けられたプランジャー穴(14)内で、カム駆動装置(18,20)の作用によって、ポンプ室(12)において燃料の加圧を生じさせるように往復運動することが可能なポンププランジャー(10)であって、前記カム駆動装置は、カムによって駆動される駆動部材(20)を備え、前記駆動部材(20)は、前記プランジャー(10)と連結され、使用時に、前記プランジャー(10)に駆動力を与え、これによって、前記プランジャー(10)がポンピング行程と戻り行程とを含むポンピングサイクルを行なうようなポンププランジャー(10)と、
前記プランジャー(10)の前記戻り行程中に、前記ポンプ室(12)に供給される燃料の量を制御し得るように操作可能な入口計量弁(46)と、
前記入口計量弁(46)及び前記プランジャー(10)と実質的に同軸に整合されたポンプ出口(38)と連通している出口通路(30)と、
前記入口計量弁(46)が閉じている状態で、ポンピング行程中に前記ポンプ室(12)から前記出口通路(30)を介する前記コモンレール燃料容積室への加圧燃料の供給を制御するための出口弁(58)と
を備え、
前記入口計量弁(46)は、i)前記戻り行程中に、燃料が低圧源から前記ポンプ室(12)に供給されるのを可能にすべく開くように操作可能であり、かつii)前記戻り行程中に前記ポンプ室に供給された燃料の量を計量するために、前記戻り行程の途中において閉じるように操作可能である、
ことを特徴とするコモンレール燃料供給システム。 - 前記入口計量弁(46)は、前記プランジャー(10)と同軸に整合された細長の入口弁部材(46)を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記入口計量弁(46)は、弁ハウジング(32)内に収容され、前記弁ハウジング(32)は、前記弁ハウジング(32)及び前記ポンプハウジング(16)に設けられたそれぞれのドリル穴が一直線状に並び、前記出口通路(30)を少なくとも部分的に画成するように配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のシステム。
- 前記ユニットポンプ(8)の前記出口弁(58)は、前記出口通路(30)内に配置される流体的に作動可能な逆止弁(58)であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記入口計量弁(46)は、前記カム駆動装置(18,20)のカムのヘルツ応力を最小限に抑止するために、前記ポンピング行程の最終段階の前に開くように、さらに操作可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記入口計量弁(46)は、2位置単一シート弁であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 複数のユニットポンプ(8)を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
