Claims (15)
- 燃料を内燃機関のコモンレールに送給するのに用いられるポンプ組立体において、
中間駆動部材(34)と連動して作動可能なポンププランジャー(28,128)であって、前記中間駆動部材(34)は、使用時において、前記ポンププランジャー(28,128)に駆動力を付与するために、エンジン駆動カム(11)とさらに連動して作動可能であるようなポンププランジャー(28,128)と、
前記カム(11)と連動して作動可能な内面と、前記中間駆動部材(34)と連動して作動可能な外面とを有するカムライダー部材(38)と、
半径方向延在開口(18a)を備える主ポンプハウジング(10)であって、別体のポンプヘッド(20a)が前記開口(18a)内の第1端に嵌入され、前記中間駆動部材(34)が前記開口(18a)の第2端に嵌入され、これによって、前記主ポンプハウジング(10)は、使用時に、前記中間駆動部材(34)の運動を案内するように機能し、前記別体のポンプヘッド(20a)は、前記プランジャー(28,128)の運動を案内するように機能するプランジャー穴(26)を備え、前記ポンププランジャー(28)が駆動されるときに燃料が加圧されるポンプ室(30)が、前記プランジャー穴(26)内に画成されるような主ポンプハウジング(10)と、
を備えていることを特徴とするポンプ組立体。 - 前記主ポンプハウジング(10)は、使用時に、エンジン駆動軸(12)を受入れるための軸方向延在開口(17)を備え、前記半径方向延在開口(18a)の最内端は、前記軸方向延在開口(17)内に開口していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記ポンプ組立体は、前記カム(11)の周囲に等角度で離間された第1、第2、及び第3ポンプユニット(20a,20b,20c)を備え、前記第1、第2、及び第3ポンプユニット(20a,20b,20c)の各々は、前記主ポンプハウジング(10)内に設けられた第1、第2、又は第3半径方向延在開口(18a,18b,18c)の各1つ内に受入れられたプランジャー(28)及び中間駆動部材(34)を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記ポンプ組立体は、第1及び第2ポンプユニット(20a,20b)のみを備え、前記第1及び第2ポンプユニットの各々は、前記主ポンプハウジング(10)内に設けられた第1又は第2半径方向延在開口の各1つ内に嵌入されたプランジャー(28)及び中間駆動部材(34)を備え、前記第1及び第2半径方向延在開口は、実質的に直径に沿って向き合って配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記中間駆動部材は、対向タペット側壁とタペット基部とを有するタペット(34)の形態を取り、前記タペット側壁は、前記主ポンプハウジング(10)内の前記半径方向延在開口(18a)内に案内され、前記タペット基部は、前記カムライダー部材(38)の外面の平面(38a)と連動して作動するようになっていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記タペット(34)が使用時に往復運動すると、燃料が前記主ポンプハウジング(10)内の前記半径方向延在開口(18a)から排出され、及びそこに供給されることを可能にする手段(35)をさらに備えていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 燃料が前記半径方向延在開口(18a)から排出され、及びそこに供給されることを可能にする前記手段は、前記タペット側壁に設けられた側壁開口(35)を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記主ポンプハウジング(10)は、前記中間駆動部材(34)用の案内経路を画成する挿入手段を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記挿入手段は、略円筒形状の挿入スリーブ又は前記開口(18a,18b,18c)の内面に施される被膜の1つであることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記プランジャー穴及び前記挿入部材は、実質的に同軸に位置合わせされていることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記半径方向延在開口(18a,18b,18c)の内面は、前記中間駆動部材(34)用の案内経路を画成していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記ポンプヘッド(20a)は、増大されたプランジャー密封長さを画成するように前記半径方向延在開口(18a,18b,18c)内に突出する延在部(24)を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記ポンプ室(30)は、前記ポンプ室(30)と前記コモンレールとの間の連通を開閉するように弁シート(47)と係合可能な弁部材(41)を備える出口弁装置を有し、前記弁部材(41)の開運動は、少なくとも部分的に、少なくとも2つの燃料用流路を画成する停止プラグ(46)によって、制限されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記停止プラグ(46)は、高圧燃料用流路を画成するために、少なくとも2つの軸方向延在凹部を備える外面を有していることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載のポンプ組立体。
- 前記停止プラグ(46)は、4つの個別の高圧燃料用流路を画成するために、前記停止プラグの外面の周囲に等角度で離間された4つの軸方向延在凹部を備える外面を有していることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載のポンプ組立体。
