Description
本発明によれば、記録用シートの厚さと表面粗さとを小型な構成で正確に検知できる。
以下、本発明の記録用シート検知装置、記録用シート検知装置の制御方法、情報記録装置、情報記録装置の制御方法及び制御プログラムの実施の形態を図面に基づき説明する。
まず、第1の実施の形態を、図1乃至図16に基づき説明する。
次に、第2の実施の形態を、図17に基づき説明する。
以上が本発明の実施の形態の説明であるが、本発明は、これら実施の形態に限られるものではなく、特許請求の範囲で示した機能、または実施の形態の構成が持つ機能を達成できる構成であれば、どのようなものであっても適用可能である。

Claims (9)
- 記録用シートに光を照射する発光手段と、
前記発光手段から照射され前記記録用シートを透過した光を、レンズを介して受光する領域であって指向性を高めた状態で使用する第1領域と、レンズを介さずに受光する領域であって指向性を弱めた状態で使用する第2領域とを有する受光手段と、
前記受光手段の前記第1領域で受光される光の光量から前記記録用シートの表面粗さを検知し、前記受光手段の前記第2領域で受光される光の光量から前記記録用シートの厚さを検知する検知手段と、
を有することを特徴とする記録用シート検知装置。 - 前記発光手段は、複数個の発光素子から構成され、
前記受光手段は、複数個の受光素子から構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の記録用シート検知装置。 - 前記受光手段は、前記複数個の受光素子により複数の領域を一度に読み取ることが可能であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の記録用シート検知装置。
- 前記受光手段は、ラインイメージセンサから成ることを特徴とする請求項2または4に記載の記録用シート検知装置。
- 前記ラインイメージセンサは、複数個のチップから成ることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の記録用シート検知装置。
- 前記発光手段は、LED(発光ダイオード)から成ることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の記録用シート検知装置。
- 前記LEDは、指向性が異なるLEDを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の記録用シート検知装置。
- 記録用シートに情報を記録する情報記録装置において、
請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の記録用シート検知装置による検知結果を基に前記記録用シートに対する情報記録条件を設定する設定手段を有することを特徴とする情報記録装置。 - 前記記録用シート検知装置は、情報が前記記録用シートに記録される位置よりも上流側の記録用シート搬送パス上に配置されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の情報記録装置。
