Description
Claims (27)
- デジッタバッファを適応させる方法であって、
エアリンクの特性における変化を検出することと、
前記特性における変化に基づいてパケット遅延を推定することと、
前記特性における変化がパケット到着時間に影響を与える前に、前記推定されたパケット遅延に基づいて前記デジッタバッファを適応させることと
を含む方法。 - 前記特性は、セクタ負荷の測定値である請求項1の方法。
- 前記特性は測定信号品質である請求項1の方法。
- 前記特性は前記信号品質の変化である請求項3の方法。
- 前記推定されたパケット遅延は、パケット遅延における増加であり、前記デジッタバッファは、そのサイズを増加することにより適応される請求項1の方法。
- 前記推定されたパケット遅延は、パケット遅延の減少を含み、前記デジッタバッファは、そのサイズを縮小することにより適応される請求項1の方法。
- ハンドオフ事象の前にデジッタバッファを適応させる方法であって、
前記ハンドオフ事象をスケジュールすることと、
前記スケジュールされたハンドオフ事象に基づいてパケット遅延を推定することと、
前記推定されたパケット遅延に基づいて前記デジッタバッファを適応させることと
を含む方法。 - 前記デジッタバッファは、そのサイズを増加させることにより適応される請求項7の方法。
- 前記デジッタバッファを適応させることは、前記推定されたパケット遅延に基づいて前記デジッタバッファを初期化することを含む請求項1の方法。
- 前記デジッタバッファは、前記推定されたパケット遅延の関数として計算されたサイズに初期化される請求項9の方法。
- 無線エアリンクによって通信信号を受信するように構成された受信機と、
エアリンク特性の測定値を取得し、前記エアリンク特性における変化に基づいてパケット遅延を推定し、前記エアリンクの特性における変化がパケット到着時間に影響を与える前にデジッタバッファサイズが適応されるように、前記推定されたパケット遅延に基づいて前記デジッタバッファサイズを計算するように構成されたプロセッサと、
前記計算されたデジッタバッファサイズに一致することができる適応可能なサイズを持つように構成されたデジッタバッファと
を備える加入者局。 - 前記プロセッサは更に、セクタ負荷の関数として前記デジッタバッファを計算するように構成された請求項11の加入者局。
- 前記プロセッサは更に、信号品質の関数として前記デジッタバッファサイズを計算するように構成された請求項11の加入者局。
- 前記プロセッサは更に、前記信号品質の変化の関数として前記デジッタバッファサイズを計算するように構成された請求項13の加入者局。
- スケジュールされたハンドオフに関する情報を取得し、前記スケジュールされたハンドオフの関数としてパケット遅延を推定し、前記推定されたパケット遅延の関数としてデジッタバッファサイズを計算するように構成されたプロセッサと、
適応可能なサイズを持つように構成されたデジッタバッファとを備え、
前記デジッタバッファは、前記計算されたサイズに一致可能である加入者局。 - デジッタバッファを適応させる方法を実行するために、コンピュータによって実行可能な命令からなるプログラムを組み込んだコンピュータ読取可能媒体であって、前記方法は、
エアリンクの特性における変化を検出することと、
前記特性における変化に基づいてパケット遅延を推定することと、
前記特性における変化がパケット到着時間に影響を与える前に、前記推定されたパケット遅延に基づいて前記デジッタバッファを適応させることと
を含むコンピュータ読取可能媒体。 - ハンドオフ事象前にデジッタバッファを適応させる方法を実行するために、コンピュータによって実行可能な命令からなるプログラムを組み込んだコンピュータ読取可能媒体であって、前記方法は、
前記ハンドオフ事象をスケジュールすることと、
前記スケジュールされたハンドオフ事象に基づいてパケット遅延を推定することと、
前記推定されたパケット遅延に基づいて前記ジッタバッファを適応させることと
を含むコンピュータ読取可能媒体。 - 無線エアリンクによって通信信号を受信する手段と、
前記受信した通信信号に基づいて、前記無線エアリンクの特性における変化の検出を判定する手段と、
前記無線エアリンクにおいて判定された特性の関数としてデジッタバッファサイズを計算する手段と、
前記デジッタバッファサイズが、前記計算されたサイズに一致するように、前記無線エアリンクの特性における変化がパケット到着時間に影響を与える前に前記デジッタバッファサイズを適応させる手段と
を備える加入者局。 - スケジュールされたハンドオフに関する情報を取得する手段と、
前記スケジュールされたハンドオフの関数としてパケット遅延を推定する手段と、
前記推定されたパケット遅延の関数としてデジッタバッファサイズを計算する手段と、
前記計算されたサイズにデジッタバッファを一致させる手段と
を備える加入者局。 - エアリンクの特性における変化を検出する手段と、
前記特性における変化に基づいてパケット遅延を推定する手段と、
パケットを格納する手段と、
各データパケットに対応する遅延を格納する手段と、
前記特性における変化がパケット到着時間に影響を与える前に、デジッタバッファのサイズを調節する手段と
を備えるジッタ補償装置。 - 前記調節する手段は、時間ワープを組み込んだ請求項20の装置。
- 前記時間ワープは、受信されたデータレートの関数である請求項21の装置。
- ボイスオーバインターネットプロトコル(VoIP)データを処理するように適応される請求項20の装置。
- 前記受信信号の品質は、無線通信システムにおけるセクタ負荷の関数である請求項20の装置。
- 前記受信信号の品質は、逆方向アクティビティビットの関数である請求項24の装置。
- 前記受信信号の品質は、トラフィックチャネル有効ビットの関数である請求項24の装置。
- ハンドオフを予期して、前記デジッタバッファのサイズを調節するように適応される請求項20の装置。
