Description
請求項1の発明によれば、シールド電線がその軸芯周りに捩られたときにも、突出部と凹部とが相互に係止し合って構成される係止手段によって接続手段が回り止めされているため、接続手段とシールドシェルとの間の接触部分での擦れを回避することができる。突出部はかしめリングをかしめ付ける工程で生じるリブを利用するため、専用の回り止め構造を設定する必要がなく、構成の簡素化と製造工程の簡略化を図ることができる。
接続手段は突出部と凹部との係止によって回り止めがなされるが、このときに突出部は、凹部について複数箇所設定されたもののうちの一つを選択すればよいため、係止にあたって周方向の位置決め作業が簡単ですむ。
カバーのフランジ部がシェル接続部材における大径部の後端面に当接するため、シェル接続部材の後方へのずれ止めも併せて図られる。
本発明の実施形態1を図1ないし図9によって説明する。まず、シールド電線1について説明すると、シールド電線1全体は複数本(図では計3本)の電線を筒状に編み込んでなる編組線2(本発明のシールド導体)にて一括して被包し、さらにその外周部にはシース3が被着されて形成されている。なお、各電線は多数本の撚り線を絶縁被覆で包み込んだ周知のものである。

Claims (3)
- シールド導体によって複数本の電線が一括して被包されるシールド電線と、前記各電線の端末にそれぞれ接続された端子金具を収容するコネクタハウジングと、このコネクタハウジング内において前記端子金具を包囲する形態で組み込まれるシールドシェルと、前記シールド導体の端末に装着され前記シールドシェルに接触可能な筒状の接続手段と、この接続手段の外側を覆った形態で前記コネクタハウジングにロック機構により固定され前記接続手段の抜け止めを行うカバーとが具備され、
前記接続手段は、前記シールド導体における端末の内側に嵌め入れられて前記シールドシェルに接触可能なシェル接続部材と、前記シールド導体における端末の外側に嵌められ前記シェル接続部材との間で前記シールド導体を挟みつつかしめ付けることで前記シェル接続部材と一体化された状態で前記シールド導体に固定されるかしめリングとからなり、
かつ前記接続手段の外周には、前記かしめリングが前記かしめ付けられる際に生じる軸方向に沿ったリブからなる突出部が形成される一方、前記カバーの内周には前記突出部を受け入れる軸方向に沿った凹部が形成され、
前記突出部と前記凹部とが相互に係止し合うことで前記接続手段の軸周りの回動を規制する係止手段が構成されることを特徴とするシールドコネクタ。 - 前記カバーの内周に設けられた前記凹部は周方向に沿って複数箇所が設定され、前記接続手段の突出部が選択的に係止可能となっていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシールドコネクタ。
- 前記シェル接続部材が、大径部と小径部とを前後に連ねた段付きの円筒形状に形成され、前記大径部が前記シールドシェルの後端部内に嵌って接続可能である一方、前記小径部は前記シールド導体の端末の内側に嵌め入れられて外側から前記かしめリングがかしめ付けられるようになっており、
かつ、前記カバーには前記かしめリングの外側を覆う円形包囲部が設けられて同円形包囲部の前端には全周に亘ってフランジ部が径方向外方へ張り出すように形成され、このフランジ部が前記シェル接続部材における前記大径部の後端面に当接可能となっていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載のシールドコネクタ。
