Claims (6)
- 工具本体の外周に工具先端から基端側に向かう螺旋状の切り屑排出溝が一若しくは複数形成された穴明け工具であって、前記切り屑排出溝は、30°〜40°の範囲で設定される第一のねじれ角を有する第一のねじれ領域と、この第一のねじれ領域の工具基端側に連設され前記第一のねじれ角より5°〜20°大きい第二のねじれ角を有する第二のねじれ領域とを備え、前記工具本体は、心厚が工具基端側に向かって徐々に大きくなるように構成され、0.020/mm〜0.100/mmの範囲で設定される第一のウェブテーパを有する第一のテーパ領域と、この第一のテーパ領域の工具基端側に連設され前記第一のウェブテーパより小さい0.003/mm〜0.020/mmの範囲で設定される第二のウェブテーパを有する第二のテーパ領域とを有し、前記第一のねじれ領域と前記第二のねじれ領域との連設部は、前記工具本体の先端から前記切り屑排出溝の溝長の30%未満の位置に設けられ、前記第一のテーパ領域と前記第二のテーパ領域との連設部は、前記第一のねじれ領域と前記第二のねじれ領域との連設部よりも工具基端側に設けられていることを特徴とする穴明け工具。
- 請求項1記載の穴明け工具において、前記第一のテーパ領域と前記第二のテーパ領域との連設部は、前記工具本体の先端から前記切り屑排出溝の溝長の30%〜90%の位置に設けられていることを特徴とする穴明け工具。
- 請求項1記載の穴明け工具において、前記第一のテーパ領域と前記第二のテーパ領域との連設部は、前記工具本体の先端から前記切り屑排出溝の溝長の50%〜90%の位置に設けられていることを特徴とする穴明け工具。
- 請求項1〜3いずれか1項に記載の穴明け工具において、前記工具本体の心厚は、工具直径の20%〜60%に設定されていることを特徴とする穴明け工具。
- 請求項1〜4いずれか1項に記載の穴明け工具において、工具直径が0.4mm以下であることを特徴とする穴明け工具。
- 請求項1〜5いずれか1項に記載の穴明け工具において、前記第一のねじれ領域と前記第二のねじれ領域との連設部は、前記工具本体の先端から0.3mm以上の位置に設けられていることを特徴とする穴明け工具。
