Claims (4)
- 所定の熱処理が行われたばね鋼からなる弓状の板ばね基材に、その使用状態と同じ方向の荷重をかけ、前記板ばね基材の一側の表面に略1000Mpaの引張応力を作用させる工程と、
前記荷重をかけた状態で、前記表面を高周波加熱手段によって加熱し、前記表面から前記板ばね基材の厚さの5〜10%の深さの範囲に作用する引張応力を消滅させる工程と、
引き続き前記荷重をかけた状態で、加熱した前記表面を水冷手段により冷却して結晶組織をマルテンサイト変態させ、引張応力が消滅した前記表面の層に200〜500MPaの圧縮応力を発生させる工程と、
前記荷重を解除し、前記板ばね基材を弓状の状態に戻すことによって、前記表面の層に1000MPa以上の残留圧縮応力を与える工程と、が備えられることを特徴とする板ばねの製造方法。
- 前記高周波加熱手段と前記水冷手段による焼き入れ後に、前記表面に対して所定平均粒径のショットによりショットピーニングを施すことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の板ばねの製造方法。
- 前記ショットピーニングは、略0.3〜0.5mm程度の平均粒径のショットを用いることを特徴とする請求項2に記戟の板ばねの製造方法。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法で製造された板ばねであって、表面から前記板ばねの厚さの5〜10%の深さの範囲に残留圧縮応力が分布し、その残留圧縮応力の最大値が1000MPa以上であることを特徴とする板ばね。
