Description
エンジンの駆動力を活用して発電を行う発電機と、
エンジンの排気エネルギを活用して発電を行う排気発電機と、
エンジンの駆動状態を示すエンジン動作点であるエンジン回転数とエンジン出力トルクとの関係から、発電機による発電に必要なエンジンの燃料増加量よりも少ない燃料増加量で、排気発電機による排気発電可能な電力量を示す発電可能量を算出したマップを用いて、エンジンの動作点に応じて、発電可能量を決定する発電可能量決定手段と、を備えることを特徴とする。
排気発電機を制御する排気発電制御手段と、
発電機制御手段、及び排気発電制御手段に対して指令を出す指示手段と、を備え、
発電機制御手段、及び排気発電制御手段は、指示手段からの電源バスの電圧指令に基づき制御することを特徴とする。
図1は、本発明の排気発電装置の電機系統を示すブロック図である。電動ターボチャージャ1は、ターボチャージャ2と、ターボチャージャ2の回転軸と直結された交流回転電機である回転電機3とから構成される。
排気発電指令(P_g_ex_com)=発電参照量(P_g_ex_ref)+補正電力(Pk)
これにより、バス電圧(VB)が上限値(VB_max)以上の場合には、発電参照量(P_g_ex_ref)から補正電力(Pk)だけ減らした電力量を排気発電指令(P_g_ex_com)とすることができるため、排気発電過多による電源バス7の電圧レベルの過度な上昇を防止することができる。
本実施形態では、エンジン動作点として、エンジン回転数(Ne)とエンジン出力トルク(Te)を用いているが、エンジン出力トルク(Te)の代替としてエンジンのピストンの平均有効圧を用いたり、また、車速、駆動トルク、変速段(比)を用いたりしてもよい。
本実施形態では、本発明の電源系の管理方法を採用する車両用電源装置について説明する。なお、本実施形態の車両用電源装置の構成、及び電力管理方法は、本出願人によって出願された特開2004−260908号公報に開示されている車両用電源装置の実施態様と共通する部分が多いため、その共通する部分についての説明は簡略(或いは省略)し、主に異なる部分について説明する。
本実施形態の車両用電源装置を備えた車両の電気系を示すブロック図を図4に示す。エンジン101は、ベルト107により発電機102に連結されている。発電機102は、電源線108を通じてバッテリ103および負荷制御手段110a〜110eに接続されている。
次に、電源制御手段105により実施される上記電気系の電力管理について、図5に示す説明図を参照して説明する。この電力管理は、(1)電力発生管理と、(2)電力消費管理とからなる。
電力発生管理は、電力供給を行う複数の供給元から実際の供給元およびその発生電力(供給電力)の大きさを決定(配分)し、それを電力を供給する供給元に指令する作業である。
電力消費管理は、電力消費(蓄積)を行う複数の供給先(消費先)のうち実際に電力(消費電力)を供給すべき供給先や電力(消費電力)の大きさの決定(配分)し、それを供給先に指令する作業である。

Claims (7)
- エンジンの駆動力を活用して発電を行う発電機と、
前記エンジンの排気エネルギを活用して発電を行う排気発電機と、
前記エンジンの駆動状態を示すエンジン動作点であるエンジン回転数とエンジン出力トルクとの関係から、前記発電機による発電に必要な前記エンジンの燃料増加量よりも少ない燃料増加量で、前記排気発電機による排気発電可能な電力量を示す発電可能量を算出したマップを用いて、前記エンジンの動作点に応じて、前記発電可能量を決定する発電可能量決定手段と、を備えることを特徴とする排気発電装置。 - 前記発電可能量決定手段の決定した発電可能量を前記エンジンを制御するエンジン制御手段へ入力する入力手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の排気発電装置。
- 前記発電可能量決定手段は、前記エンジンの出力が高いほど、前記発電可能量が多くなるように決定することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の排気発電装置。
- 前記排気発電機の制御が不能になった場合に、前記排気発電機と電源バスとの接続を切断する切断手段と、を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の排気発電装置。
- 前記発電機を制御する発電機制御手段と、
前記排気発電機を制御する排気発電制御手段と、
前記発電機制御手段、及び前記排気発電制御手段に対して指令を出す指示手段と、を備え、
前記発電機制御手段、及び前記排気発電制御手段は、前記指示手段からの電源バスの電圧指令に基づき制御することを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の排気発電装置。 - 前記発電可能量決定手段は、前記電源バスの電圧レベルが所定レベルを超える場合、前記発電可能量を減らすことを特徴とする請求項4又は5記載の排気発電装置。
- 前記エンジン制御手段は、前記排気発電機が前記発電可能量を発電する際の前記エンジンの出力トルクの損失分を補償するように、前記発電可能量から前記出力トルク損失分を求め、前記エンジンへの出力トルク指令に前記出力トルク損失分を上乗せして制御することを特徴とする請求項2〜6の何れか1項に記載の排気発電装置。
