Abstract
【解決手段】 帳票読取り装置1は、所定の読取り用の波長を用いて読取り可能なように情報が記録された旅券Pの情報記録面の画像を撮影するカメラ3と、情報記録面に向けて読取り用の波長の照明を行う照明部4と、読取り用の波長と異なる検出用の波長を用いて情報記録面の裏側から旅券Pの検出用の発光を行うLED8と、帳票検出やLED8の発光を制御する制御部9を備える。画像を撮影したときの検出用のLED8の発光の輝度レベルに基づいて、旅券Pが載置されたことが検出される。検出用のLED8の発光は、帳票の検出が完了した後にオフにするように制御される。

Claims (5)
- 赤外線領域の読取り用の波長の光を用いて読取り可能に情報が記録された帳票の情報記録面から情報を読み取る帳票読取り装置であって、
前記装置は、
前記情報記録面の画像を撮影する撮像手段と、
読取り対象である前記帳票の前記情報記録面に向けて、前記赤外線領域の読取り用の波長の光を用いた読取り用の照明を行う照明手段と、
検出対象である前記帳票の前記情報記録面の裏側から、可視光領域の検出用の波長の光を用いた検出用の発光を行う発光手段と、
前記撮像手段を用いて撮影された前記画像における前記検出用の発光の輝度レベルが所定の閾値より小さくなった場合に、前記帳票が載置されたことを検出する帳票検出手段と、
前記帳票が載置される前に、前記検出用の発光をオンにして、前記帳票の検出が完了した後に、前記検出用の発光をオフにするように前記発光手段を制御する発光制御手段と、
を備え、
前記検出用の発光の波長は、前記読取り用の照明の波長に比べて前記撮像手段の感度の高い波長に設定されていることを特徴とする帳票読取り装置。 - 前記帳票検出手段は、前記撮像手段の撮像範囲のうち前記検出用の発光の位置に対応する部分範囲における輝度レベルが所定の閾値より小さくなった場合に、前記帳票が載置されたことを検出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の帳票読取り装置。
- 前記撮像手段は、電気的な制御により全撮像範囲の一部を撮影することが可能なものであり、前記帳票の検出を行うときに、全撮像範囲の一部であって前記部分範囲が含まれる検出用範囲の画像を撮影するように制御されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の帳票読取り装置。
- 赤外線領域の読取り用の波長の光を用いて読取り可能に情報が記録された帳票の情報記録面から情報を読み取る帳票読取り装置で用いられる方法であって、
前記方法は、
検出対象である前記帳票の前記情報記録面の裏側から、可視光領域の検出用の波長の光を用いた検出用の発光を行って、前記情報記録面の画像を撮像手段を用いて撮影し、
前記撮像手段を用いて撮影された前記画像における前記検出用の発光の輝度レベルが所定の閾値より小さくなった場合に、前記帳票が載置されたことを検出し、
読取り対象である前記帳票の前記情報記録面に向けて、前記赤外線領域の読取り用の波長の光を用いた読取り用の照明を行って、前記情報記録面の画像を前記撮像手段を用いて撮影するものであり、
前記方法では、
前記帳票が載置される前に、前記検出用の発光をオンにして、前記帳票の検出が完了した後に、前記検出用の発光をオフにするように発光制御が行われ、
前記検出用の発光の波長は、前記読取り用の照明の波長に比べて前記撮像手段の感度の高い波長に設定されていることを特徴とする帳票検出方法。 - 前記撮像手段の撮像範囲のうち前記検出用の発光の位置に対応する部分範囲における輝度レベルが所定の閾値より小さくなった場合に、前記帳票が載置されたことを検出することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の帳票検出方法。
