Description
本発明の実施の形態1の情報記録媒体およびその製造方法、並びに記録再生方法、光学情報記録再生装置について、図1〜図3を用いて説明する。
本発明の実施の形態2の情報記録媒体およびその製造方法、並びに記録再生方法、光学情報記録再生装置について、図4Aおよび図4Bを用いて説明する。
本発明の実施の形態3の情報記録媒体およびその製造方法、並びに記録再生方法、光学情報記録再生装置について、図5Aおよび図5Bを用いて説明する。
本発明の実施の形態4の情報記録媒体およびその製造方法、並びに記録再生方法、光学情報記録再生装置について、図6Aおよび図6Bを用いて説明する。
記録層1a〜1fを、ジアリールエテン(吸収波長0.31μm〜0.42μm)のみを用いて形成したこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして情報記録媒体を作製した。
Claims (34)
- 記録部を含み、前記記録部に記録光または再生光が照射されることにより情報が記録または再生される情報記録媒体であって、
前記記録光の波長をλ1とすると、
前記記録部は、
波長λ1/nの第1の光を吸収すると第2の光を発生する第1の蛍光体と、
前記第2の光を吸収して光学定数が変化する、フォトンモードの感光材料とを含み、
前記第1の蛍光体の前記記録光に対するn光子吸収感度が、前記感光材料の前記記録光に対するn光子吸収感度よりも大きく、前記記録部は、前記第1の蛍光体を含む記録補助層と、前記記録補助層に接して配置され前記感光材料を含む記録層とを含むことを特徴とする情報記録媒体。
だだし、nは2以上の整数である。 - 前記記録層および前記記録補助層からなる積層体が複数設けられており、互いに隣り合う前記積層体間には、前記記録光および前記再生光に対して実質的に透明な中間層が設けられている請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記情報記録媒体に記録された情報を消去するために照射される消去光の波長をλ2とすると、
前記記録部は、波長λ2/nの第3の光を吸収して第4の光を発生する第2の蛍光体をさらに含み、
前記第4の光の波長は、λ1/nよりも長く、前記情報が記録された前記感光材料の吸収波長域に含まれ、
前記第2の蛍光体の前記消去光に対するn光子吸収感度が、前記情報が記録された前記感光材料の前記消去光に対するn光子吸収感度よりも大きい請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。 - 前記第2の光の波長は、前記記録光および前記再生光の波長よりも短い請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記第2の光の波長は、0.3μm以上0.5μm以下である請求項4に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記感光材料は、前記記録光および前記再生光に対して実質的に透明である請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記感光材料は、前記第1の光を吸収可能な材料を含む請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記感光材料は、フォトクロミック材料である請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記フォトクロミック材料は、ジアリールエテンを含む請求項8に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記感光材料はジアリールエテンを含み、前記記録層は、前記記録光および前記再生光に対して実質的に透明な樹脂をさらに含む請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記感光材料は、側鎖型液晶性高分子またはフォトポリマーである請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記光学定数は屈折率である請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記第1の蛍光体は粒子である請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記粒子の平均粒子径は、前記記録光および前記再生光の波長よりも小さい請求項13に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記粒子は無機材料からなる請求項13に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記無機材料は、ユーロピウム付活ピロ燐酸ストロンチウム・マグネシウム、およびバリウムシリケートからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の材料を含む請求項15に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記粒子は半導体材料からなる請求項13に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記半導体材料からなる粒子は、不活性化されている請求項17に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記半導体材料からなる粒子は、水素がドーピングされて不活性化されている請求項17に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記半導体材料は、エネルギーギャップが2.5eV以上8.3eV以下である請求項17に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記半導体材料は、酸化亜鉛、窒化ガリウム、セレン化亜鉛、リン化アルミニウム、硫化亜鉛、硫化カドミウム、シリコン、ゲルマニウム、酸化スズ、酸化チタン、酸化タングステン、チタン酸ストロンチウム、炭化シリコンおよび酸化インジウムからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の材料含む請求項17に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記第1の蛍光体は、有機蛍光色素である請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記第1の蛍光体は、有機蛍光色素であり、前記記録層は、前記記録光および前記再生
光に対して実質的に透明な樹脂をさらに含む請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。 - 前記記録光および前記再生光に対して実質的に透明な樹脂は、デンドリマーポリマーを含む請求項23に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 有機蛍光色素は、パラセプチフェニル系色素を含む請求項22に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体に対して情報を記録または再生する記録再生方法であって、
前記記録光を前記記録部に照射し、前記第1の蛍光体から発生した前記第2の光により前記感光材料の光学定数を変化させる工程を含み、
前記工程において、前記第2の光の波長は、前記記録光および前記再生光の波長よりも短いことを特徴とする記録再生方法。 - 請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体に対して情報の記録および再生を行う光学情報記録再生装置であって、
記録光を出射する光源と、
再生光を出射する光源と、
前記記録光および前記再生光を前記情報記録媒体に集光する対物レンズと、
前記情報記録媒体で反射した光を検出する光検出器と、を備え、
前記情報記録媒体の前記記録部の光学定数の変化を利用して、前記記録部に情報ビットを形成することを特徴とする光学情報記録再生装置。 - 消去光を出射する光源をさらに備えた請求項27に記載の光学情報記録再生装置。
- 前記消去光を出射する光源は、フラッシュランプである請求項28に記載の光学情報記
録再生装置。 - 前記記録光を出射する光源は、パルスレーザ光源であり、パルス幅は、100フェムト秒〜10ナノ秒である請求項27に記載の光学情報記録再生装置。
- 前記再生光を出射する光源の波長が、前記記録光を出射する光源の波長よりも短い請求項27に記載の光学情報記録再生装置。
- 記録部に記録されている情報ビットを通過しない順序で、前記情報記録媒体の前記記録部に情報ビットを3次元的に記録する請求項27に記載の光学情報記録再生装置。
- 前記情報記録媒体の前記記録部中に対物レンズからより離れた位置から近い位置に向って、順に、情報ビットを記録する請求項32に記載の光学情報記録再生装置。
- 前記記録光を出射する光源と前記再生光を出射する光源とが共通である請求項27に記載の光学情報記録再生装置。
