【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は抗菌性組成物に関し、更に詳しくは経時的な変色がない抗菌性組成物に関するものである。

【従来技術】
銀を担持した無機化合物からなる抗菌剤を配合した抗菌性組成物では、配合された銀成分が光・熱等の物理的作用や硫黄、リン酸塩等との化学反応等により経時的な変色が認められる。この変化により、加工した製品の一部の外観が異なる色となり商品性を損なうおそれがあった。この変化を抑制する試みとして、ベンゾトリアゾール(例えば、特許文献1参照)、イミド水素含有環状化合物(例えば、特許文献2参照)等を添加する方法が提案されている。しかしこれらの試みでも従来の変色抑制を十分に解決するには至っていない。

本発明の目的は、光・熱等の物理的作用や硫黄、リン酸塩等との化学反応等による経時的な変色のない、又は軽減された抗菌性組成物を提供することである。

本発明は、基材と、銀を担持した無機化合物からなる抗菌剤と、含窒素複素6員環化合物の水溶性の塩とを含有することを特徴とする抗菌性組成物を提供するものである。
以下に本発明について詳しく説明する。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明において、銀を担持した無機化合物からなる抗菌剤とは、抗菌性を有する銀を安定した形で担持した無機化合物である。ここで無機化合物としては、例えば、ゼオライト、ヒドロキシアパタイト、リン酸ジルコニウム、リン酸チタン、含水酸化チタン、ハイドロタルサイト、ポリリン酸塩、酸化アルミニウム、酸化鉄、シリカ、含水酸化すず、含水酸化ジルコニウム、含水酸化アンチモン等の酸化物、モリブトリン酸塩、リンタングステン酸塩等のヘテロポリ酸、ゼオライト(結晶性アルミノケイ酸塩)、トリポリリン酸塩、ヘキサメタリン酸塩等のリン酸塩等である。
銀を担持した無機化合物からなる抗菌剤は、銀塩の水溶液に無機化合物を添加し、攪拌後に固体を分離し、乾燥し、必要により粉砕することにより容易に調製できる。使用する銀塩としては、硝酸銀、硫酸銀等が挙げられる。
本発明の抗菌性組成物中、銀を担持した無機化合物からなる抗菌剤の含有量は好ましくは0.5〜6.0質量%、さらに好ましくは0.7〜2.5質量%である。

本発明において銀を担持した無機化合物からなる抗菌剤の中の銀量は0.1〜7.0質量%、好ましくは0.5〜2.5質量%である。また銀を担持した無機化合物には、安定性・白色性等を考慮した他のイオンを共に含有することもできる。例えば、亜鉛、銅、カルシウム、マグネシウム、カリウム、ニッケル、タングステン、白金、バナジウム、アンモニウム、アミン等を挙げることができる。

本発明において使用する含窒素複素6員環化合物として好ましいものは、少なくとも2個の複素原子を含み、そのうち少なくとも1個は窒素原子である化合物である。具体例としては、ピリダジン、ピリミジン、ピラジン、オキサジン、チアジン、トリアジン、オキサジアジン、チアジアジン、テトラジン、シアヌル酸、チミン、アザチミン、ウラシル、アザウラシル、チミン、アザチミン、ピペラジン、フタルヒドラジン、フタラゾン、バルビツル酸、チオウラシル、アデニン、グアニン、キサンチン、ヒポキサンチン、尿酸、テオフィリン、テオブロミン及びそれらの誘導体が挙げられる。含窒素複素6員環化合物の水溶性の塩としては、金属塩(例えば、ナトリウム塩、カリウム塩、リチウム塩等のアルカリ金属塩)、カルシウム塩、マグネシウム塩等のアルカリ土類金属塩、アンモニウム塩、アミン塩(例えば、メチルアミン塩、エチルアミン塩、ジメチルアミン塩、トリメチルアミン塩、アリルアミン塩、アニリン塩等)が挙げられる。
含窒素複素6員環化合物の水溶性の塩は、水に難溶性のフリーの含窒素複素6員環化合物と異なり、銀と容易に反応してこれを安定化し、その結果経時的な変色を効果的に防止するものと考えられる。

本発明に使用する含窒素複素6員環化合物の水溶性の塩は、含窒素複素6員環化合物と、これと塩を形成し得る化合物、例えば、アルカリ金属水酸化物、アルカリ土類金属水酸化物、水酸化アンモニウム、アンモニア、アミン等を溶媒中で混合することにより容易に調製することができる。混合する際の溶媒は、水、各種有機溶媒(例えば、アルコール、フェノール、エーテル、エステル、アルデヒド、アセタール、ケトン、炭化水素、シンナー等)が使用できるが、特に限定されるものではない。
含窒素複素6員環化合物と塩を形成し得る化合物の例としては、水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウム、水酸化カルシウム、水酸化マグネシウム、水酸化リチウム、水酸化バリウム、アンモニア水、炭酸ナトリウム、炭酸カリウム、炭酸マグネシウム、炭酸バリウム、炭酸アンモニウム、硝酸ナトリウム、硝酸カリウム、硝酸カルシウム、硝酸マグネシウム、硝酸アンモニウム、硫酸ナトリウム、硫酸カリウム、硫酸カルシウム、硫酸マグネシウム、硫酸アンモニウム等が挙げられる。

本発明において、銀を担持した無機化合物からなる抗菌剤に対する、含窒素複素6員環化合物の水溶性の塩の添加量は、好ましくは1〜100質量%、さらに好ましくは5〜20質量%である。
また、本発明の抗菌性組成物中、含窒素複素6員環化合物の水溶性の塩の含有量は、好ましくは0.01〜2.0質量%、さらに好ましくは0.05〜2.0質量%である。

本発明に使用される基材としては、熱可塑性樹脂、熱硬化性樹脂、ゴム類、水分散塗料、有機溶媒分散塗料、油性塗料、セルロース塗料、天然高分子系接着剤、半合成高分子系接着剤、ワックス、無機系目地材、有機系目地材等が挙げられる。具体例としては、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン、ポリエステル、ポリアミド、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリカーボネート、アクリル樹脂、シリコーン樹脂、ポリウレタン、ポリエステルエラストマー、ポリウレタンエラストマー、塩化ビニル樹脂、酢酸ビニル樹脂、フッ素樹脂、フェノール樹脂、メラミン樹脂、ユリア樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、アルキド樹脂、アミノアルキド樹脂、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂、レゾルシノール樹脂、レーヨン、アセテート、ビニリデン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ゼラチン、セルロース、デンプン、キトサン、石膏等が挙げられる。

木発明の抗菌性組成物は、従来公知の樹脂成形法等により所望の形状に成形することができる。例えば、射出成形法、押し出し成形法、廷伸成形法、粉末成形法、発泡成形法、ロール加工成形法、注型成形法、圧縮成形法、印刷・塗装法等を適用することができる。

本発明の抗菌性組成物は、経時的な変色がないか、又は極めて少ない。

【実施例】
以下本発明を実施例により更に詳しく説明する。
[抗菌性組成物の調製1]
表1に示す銀を担持する種々の無機化合物と、含窒素複素6員環化合物の水溶性の塩を表1に示す割合で水に添加し、均一になるように充分に攪拌する。この混合物を、CMC水溶液、デンプン系接着剤、又は水エマルジョン系塗料に攪拌しながら投入し、均一になるまで充分に攪拌する。得られた抗菌性組成物を50mm×50mmのアルミ箔に、乾燥膜厚0.1mmとなるように塗布し、80〜100℃で5〜12時間乾燥して変色性、抗菌性、抗かび性試験に供した。
[抗菌性組成物の調製2]
表1に示す銀を担持する種々の無機化合物と、含窒素複素6員環化合物の水溶性の塩を表1に示す割合でボールミル中で均一になるように充分に混合する。この混合物をポリプロピレンペレットと混合し、均一になるまで充分に混合する。得られた混合物を射出成形機で240℃で成形し、得られた50mm×50mm×3mmのサイズの抗菌性組成物を、変色性、抗菌性、抗かび性試験に供した。

[1.抗菌性組成物の変色性試験]
調製した実施例及び比較例の試料に、光を照射した際の変色性を評価した。試験条件は、成形した抗菌性組成物を20日間40W蛍光灯を距離1mで常温下露光した。処理前後の変色性をL*−a*−b*表色系の各色値を測定し、色差ΔEを計算した。結果を表2に示す。

[2.抗菌性組成物の抗菌・抗かび性試験]
調製した実施例及び比較例の試料の抗菌・抗かび性を評価した。抗菌性試験はJIS Z2801法(菌種は大腸菌)により、抗かび性試験はJIS Z2911法により行った。結果を表2に示す。

Claims (4)
- 基材と、銀を担持した無機化合物からなる抗菌剤と、含窒素複素6員環化合物の水溶性の塩とを含有する抗菌性組成物であって、
含窒素複素6員環化合物が、シアヌル酸、フタルヒドラジン及び尿酸からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする抗菌性組成物。 - 銀を担持した無機化合物からなる抗菌剤が、銀イオン担持ゼオライトである請求項1記載の抗菌性組成物。
- 基材が樹脂である請求項1又は2記載の抗菌性組成物。
- 水溶性の塩が、金属塩、アンモニウム塩又はアミン塩である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の抗菌性組成物。
