Description
a)前記発酵ブロスにアルカリ化段階を受けさせ、
b)1種以上の凝集剤を添加し、そして
c)前記ラクテート/乳酸含有発酵ブロスからバイオマスフロック(biomass flocs)を分離する。
Claims (9)
- 発酵ブロスに存在するラクテートと乳酸を含有する発酵生成物からバイオマスを分離する方法であって、
a)前記発酵ブロスにアルカリ化段階を受けさせ、
b)1種以上の凝集剤を添加し、そして
c)前記ラクテート/乳酸含有発酵ブロスからバイオマスフロックを分離する、
ことによる方法において、
発酵ブロスのアルカリ化の滞留時間を1秒から15分とし、当該アルカリ化の滞留時間は発酵ブロスのpHを9〜14に上昇させたときとバイオマスフロックを分離するときの間であることを特徴とする
方法。 - 前記アルカリ化段階で前記発酵ブロスのpHを10〜14にまで上昇させる請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記凝集剤がオルト燐酸である請求項1〜2のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記凝集剤が高分子量凝集剤である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 段階a)およびb)を撹拌を伴わせて実施する請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 段階a)とb)を組み合わせる請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ化段階をインラインで実施する請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 段階b)をインラインで実施する請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記バイオマスフロックに洗浄段階を1回以上および追加的アルカリ化および/または凝集剤添加段階を1回以上受けさせた後に前記バイオマスフロックを分離する請求項1〜8のいずれか1項記載の方法。
