Abstract
【解決手段】まず最初に、インサート3にネジ穴11を形成する。そして、そのインサート3の少なくともネジ穴11をFRPからなる外皮4で閉塞したFRP部材2を成形する。それから、FRP部材2の外皮4を貫通してインサート3のネジ穴11に連通する座繰り穴31を形成して、インサート付FRP部品1を得る。これにより、ドライ加工が必須とされるFRP部材2の成形後の加工工程を、FRP部材2に座繰り穴31を形成する穴開け加工のみとし、加工時間の短縮を図り、生産性を向上させる。

Description
図1は、インサート加工工程を説明するためのインサート3の断面図、図2は、FRP成形加工工程を説明するためのFRP部材2の断面図、図3は、穴開け加工工程を説明するためのFRP部材2の断面図、図4は、カラー取付加工工程を説明するためのFRP部材2の断面図、図5は、FRP部材2の完成状態を示す断面図、図6は、FRP部材2の締結状態の一例を示す断面図である。なお、説明の便宜上、図中の上方を上側、下方を下側と称するが、地面に対する上下に限定されるものではない。
インサート3は、アルミニウム等の金属製又は硬質樹脂製のブロック状部材からなり、ウェット加工によりネジ穴11が形成される。ネジ穴11は、図1に示すように、インサート3の上面3aから下方に向かって穿設されており、上面3aから一定径で所定深さまで穿孔されたストレート穴部12と、ストレート穴部12に連続して同軸上に螺設された雌ネジ部13を有する。ストレート穴部12の穴径は、雌ネジ部13の穴径よりも大径に設定されている。
FRP成形加工工程では、上記インサート3が内包されたFRP部材2を成形する加工が行われる。まず最初に、FRP成形前にインサート3のネジ穴11をシール材21で閉塞する処理が行われる。シール材21には、膨張性樹脂であるシリコーンが用いられ、予めネジ穴11に充填して硬化させることによりネジ穴11を閉塞する。
ここでは、インサート3のネジ穴11に連通する座繰り穴31(連通孔)をFRP部材2に形成する加工が行われる。座繰り穴31は、切削油を用いないドライ加工によって形成される。座繰り穴31は、インサート3のネジ穴11に連通するように、FRP部材2の外側からネジ穴11が存在すると予測される箇所に穿設される。本実施の形態では、取付部材が取り付けられる側であるFRP部材2の上方から、図示していないドリルカッタを接近させることによって穿設される。
ここでは、座繰り穴31にカラー41を取り付ける加工が行われる。カラー41は、座繰り穴31に挿入されて、座繰り穴31の段差面32に先端部42aが当接し、基端が外皮4から突出する構成を有する。具体的には、図4に示すように、円環状の筒部42と、筒部42の一方端部で径方向外側に向かって突出するフランジ部43とを有する。

Claims (9)
- ネジ穴を有するインサートが内包されたFRP部材を製造する方法において、
前記インサートに前記ネジ穴を形成するインサート加工工程と、
該インサート加工工程によって前記ネジ穴が形成された前記インサートの少なくとも前記ネジ穴をFRPからなる外皮で閉塞した前記FRP部材を成形するFRP成形加工工程と、
該FRP成形加工工程によって成形された前記FRP部材の前記外皮を貫通して前記インサートの前記ネジ穴に連通する連通孔を形成する穴開け加工工程と、
を含むことを特徴とするFRP部材の製造方法。 - 前記FRP成形加工工程において、
前記インサートのネジ穴にシール材を充填して前記ネジ穴を閉塞した状態で前記FRP部材を成形することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のFRP部材の製造方法。 - 前記FRP成形加工工程において、
前記ネジ穴の開口部をシールテープで閉塞した状態で前記FRP部材を成形することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のFRP部材の製造方法。 - 前記FRP成形加工工程において、
前記ネジ穴の開口部側を前記シール材で閉塞して前記ネジ穴内に密閉された空間部を形成した状態で、前記FRP部材を加熱成形することを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載のFRP部材の製造方法。 - 前記穴開け加工工程後に、前記連通孔にカラーを挿入して、該カラーの先端を前記インサートに当接させ且つ前記カラーの基端を前記外皮から突出させた状態で前記カラーを前記FRP部材に取り付けるカラー取付加工工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一つに記載のFRP部材の製造方法。
- 前記請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一つに記載された製造方法により製造されたことを特徴とするFRP部材。
- 前記連通孔は、前記ネジ穴よりも大きな内径を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載のFRP部材。
- 前記ネジ穴は、前記インサートに一定径を有して穿設されたストレート穴部と、該ストレート穴部に連続して同軸上に螺設された雌ネジ部とを有することを特徴とする請求項6又は請求項7に記載のFRP部材。
- 前記連通孔に挿入されて、前記インサートに先端が当接し、基端が前記外皮から突出するカラーを有することを特徴とする請求項6から請求項8のいずれか一つに記載のFRP部材。
