Description
図1は本発明の光走査装置の一実施の形態を示す、走査中心軸を含み副走査方向に平行な面で切った断面図である。また図2はその概略平面図である。図2において、平面ミラー等の光学素子は、簡略化のためにその反射面を一点鎖線で表している。
(数値例1)
図5は実施の形態1に記載した光走査装置を適用した画像形成装置の一実施の形態を示す概略断面図である。図5において、26は光が照射されると電荷が変化する感光体が表面を覆っている被走査面を備えた感光ドラム、27は感光体の表面に静電気イオンを付着させ帯電させる一次帯電器、28は感光体に選択的に帯電トナーを付着させる現像器、29は付着したトナーを用紙に転写する転写帯電器、30は残ったトナーを除去するクリーナー、31は転写されたトナーを用紙に定着する定着装置、32は給紙カセット、33は光源部としての半導体レーザと、第1結像光学系としての軸対称レンズとシリンドリカルレンズとで構成される光源ブロック、34は光偏向器としてのポリゴンミラー、35は実施の形態1で示した第1の反射光学素子である曲面ミラー、36は第2の反射光学素子である平面ミラー、37は第3の反射光学素子である平面ミラーである。
Claims (2)
- 第1と第2の反射光学素子を備え、前記第2の反射光学素子は前記第1の反射光学素子への入射光と前記第1の反射光学素子からの反射光とを反射するように配置され、
更に、光源部と、前記光源部からの光束を走査する光偏向器と、前記光源部と前記光偏向器との間に配置され、前記光偏向器の偏向面上に線像を形成する第1結像光学系とを備え、
前記第1の反射光学素子は曲面ミラーであり、前記光偏向器と被走査面との間に配置されて第2結像光学系を構成し、
前記第1結像光学系からの光束が前記光偏向器の前記偏向面の法線を含み主走査方向に平行な面に対して斜め入射し、前記光偏向器からの光束が前記曲面ミラーの頂点における法線を含み主走査方向に平行な面(以後「YZ面」という)に対して斜め入射するように、前記第1結像光学系と前記光偏向器と前記第2結像光学系とが、副走査方向において異なる位置に配置され、
前記曲面ミラーは、その面が前記YZ面と交わる曲線である母線上にある頂点以外の各点での法線が前記YZ面に含まれない、ねじれ形状であることを特徴とする光走査装置。 - 請求項1に記載の光走査装置を用いたことを特徴とする画像形成装置。
