本出願は、米国仮特許出願番号60/275,192「Method and Apparatus for Spread Spectrum Radio Signal Recovery in Wideband Spread Communication Systems」と題する2001年3月12日に提出した明細書の優先権を利用(benefit)して請求するものである。その明細書は完全に、本願明細書に引用され合併された。
1.発明の分野
本発明は、一般的な無線通信システムに関し、特に、スペクトラム拡散無線信号修復のための方法及びシステムに関する。
効果的な有用性が増加するとともに、低価格電子モジュール、モバイル通信システムがますます広範囲にわたって普及している。 例えば、通信ハンドセットのような携帯電話の双方向音声及び双方向データ通信を提供するために使用する、様々な周波数、伝送計画、変調技術、及び通信プロトコルの中の通信計画には多くのバリエーションがある。その異なる変調及び伝送計画は、それぞれ利点と不利点を有している。
Claims (8)
- 広帯域スペクトラム拡散通信システムにおけるスペクトラム拡散無線信号の修復方法であって、
少なくとも1つのベースステーションから発せられる多数の信号から、前記広帯域スペクトラム拡散通信システムのチップ速度に相当するクロック情報を修復し、
修復されたクロック情報を用いて多数の信号の出力を調整し、
調整した信号の少なくとも2つを結合し、
結合された信号を少なくとも1つの拡散コードを用いて逆拡散し、
結合された信号からシンボル情報を修復すること、を備える方法。 - クロック情報を修復することは、前記信号をシングルパスプロセッサにマップすることを含む請求項1記載の方法。
- クロック情報を修復することは、常に利用可能なモバイルタイムリファレンスを用いることを含む請求項1記載の方法。
- モバイルタイムリファレンスは、少なくとも32ナノ秒まで正確である請求項3記載の方法。
- モバイルタイムリファレンスが高周波温度制御水晶発振器、及び低周波水晶発振器を用いて生成される請求項4記載の方法。
- 調整した信号の位相を訂正すること、をさらに備える請求項1記載の方法。
- 調整された信号の少なくとも2つを結合することは、4組の調整された信号について、それぞれ、少なくとも2つを結合することが可能である請求項1記載の方法。
- 情報を修復することは、結合された信号各々に対して8つのチャネルを生成することを含む請求項1記載の方法。
