Claims (33)

第2の平面部材とを含んでおり、前記第1の平面部材及び前記第2の平面部材の少なくとも一方が透明であり、さらに、
前記平面部材間に配置される、少なくとも3つのセパレータを含んでおり、前記セパレータは、それぞれ個別の高さを有し、且つ全体としてはある平均高さを有し、前記平面部材を隔てて、前記平面部材間を延びる高さを有するチャンバを形成しており、
前記第1の平面部材、前記第2の平面部材、又は前記セパレータのうちの少なくとも1つが十分に変形可能で、前記チャンバの高さを、前記セパレータの平均高さに実質的に一致させることができる装置。 - 前記第1の平面部材及び前記第2の平面部材の少なくとも一方が可撓性プラスチックを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。

前記テープをその上に巻き付けることのできる供給リールと、

前記第1の平面部材及び前記第2の平面部材の少なくとも一方が透明であり、

ある量の生体液を第1の平面部材表面又は第2の平面部材表面の一方と接触した状態に付着させるステップと、
前記両平面部材を接近させて、セパレータによって隔てられた2つの前記平面部材間に閉じ込められた生体液の層を形成するステップと、
層内に含まれる生体液の体積を決定するステップと、
実質的にすべての膜内の目的とする構成要素すべてを直接的又は間接的に計数するステップと、
計数された前記構成要素を単位体積当たりのカウントとして表すステップとを含む方法。 - 前記生体液が血液である、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記セパレータを透過した光の平均減衰を測定することによって前記チャンバ高さを計算するステップをさらに含む、請求項28に記載の方法。
- 前記層内に含まれる生体液の体積を決定する前記ステップが、
層の面積を決定するステップと、
前記チャンバの高さに層の面積を乗じることによって生体液の体積を計算するステップとをさらに含む、請求項29に記載の方法。 - 前記層の面積を、前記平面部材を接近させる前の、前記平面部材上に付着された生体液の滴の干渉画像法(interferometric imaging)によって計算する、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 抗凝固処理された全血サンプルの細胞構成要素若しくは微粒子構成要素を計数する方法において、
互いに離隔され、不連続な点で結合された第1の平面部材と第2の平面部材とを含むテープであって、前記第1の平面部材及び前記第2の平面部材の少なくとも一方が透明であり、前記平面部材間にある高さを有する少なくとも1つのチャンバが形成されており、前記チャンバのそれぞれに少なくとも3つのセパレータが配置されており、前記セパレータは、それぞれ個別の高さを有し、且つ全体としてはある平均高さを有し、前記第1の平面部材、前記第2の平面部材、又は前記セパレータのうちの少なくとも1つが十分に変形可能であり、前記チャンバの高さを前記セパレータの平均高さに実質的に一致させることができるテープと、前記テープをその上に巻き付けることのできる供給リールと、前記テープをその上に巻き付けることのできる巻取リールとを準備するステップと、
ある量の生体液を少なくとも1つのチャンバ内に入れるステップと、
少なくとも1つのチャンバの少なくとも一部分内に含まれる生体液の体積を決定するステップと、
生体液の体積内における目的の構成要素を実質的にすべて直接的又は間接的に計数するステップと、
計数された前記構成要素を単位体積当たりのカウントとして表すステップとを含む方法。 - 生体液を分析する装置において、
第1の平面部材と、
第2の平面部材とを含んでおり、前記第1の平面部材及び前記第2の平面部材の少なくとも一方が透明であり、さらに、
前記平面部材間に配置される、少なくとも3つのセパレータを含んでおり、前記セパレータは、それぞれ個別の高さを有し、且つ全体としてはある平均高さを有し、前記平面部材を隔てて、前記平面部材間を延びる高さを有するチャンバを形成しており、
前記第1の平面部材、又は前記第2の平面部材のうちの少なくとも1つが十分に変形可能で、前記チャンバの高さが、前記セパレータの平均高さよりも高い前記チャンバなしで、残骸(debris)の存在によって実質的に影響を受けないことを可能とする装置。
