Description
<第二の実施形態>
Claims (11)
- 連続するテープ状のセパレータを折り返しつつ、該セパレータ及びシート状電極を順次積層して積層体を形成する連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置であって、
前記テープ状のセパレータの先端部を吸着保持し、その上にシート状電極及びセパレータが順次積層される積層ステージと、
前記積層ステージの上方にて、前記テープ状セパレータを、該積層ステージを中心として往復移動させるセパレータ往復移動手段と、
積層された前記シート状電極の前記セパレータの移動方向両端部の辺を覆うように前記積層ステージに対して近接、又は離隔可能に構成され、前記セパレータの往復移動に伴う前記シート状電極両端部での折り返しをガイドする折り曲げガイド部材と、
前記シート状正電極を保持して前記積層ステージ上に移動供給する正電極保持移動手段と、
前記シート状負電極を保持して前記積層ステージ上に移動供給する負電極保持移動手段と
を備え、
前記セパレータ往復移動手段と、前記正電極保持移動手段及び負電極保持移動手段とは、単一の駆動源により略同一直線上を一体に往復移動するスライド往復ユニットとして構成されていることを特徴とする連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置。 - 前記セパレータ往復移動手段は、その間に前記テープ状セパレータが挿通されたローラ対を、前記積層ステージを中心として該ステージ面に沿って往復移動させることにより構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置。
- 複数のシート状正電極が収容可能な正電極収容部と、複数のシート状負電極が収容可能な負電極収容部とをさらに備え、
前記セパレータ往復移動手段は、前記正電極保持移動手段と前記負電極保持移動手段との略中央に配置されていると共に、前記積層ステージは、前記正電極収容部と前記負電極収容部との略中央に配置されており、かつ、前記セパレータ往復移動手段と前記各電極保持移動手段との水平方向の離隔距離は、前記積層ステージと前記各電極収容部との水平方向の離隔距離の略半分に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置。 - 前記折り曲げガイド部材及び/又はいずれかの前記電極保持移動手段は、積層ステージ上で積層体を形成する際に、常に、積層ステージとの間で該積層体を挟みこんでいることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置。
- 前記折り曲げガイド部材と、前記電極保持移動手段の先端部とは、その積層ステージ上への投影面が互いに干渉しないように、前記各部材が配置形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置。
- 前記テープ状セパレータは、複数のローラに懸架されていると共に、少なくとも一の前記ローラは、重力方向に移動自在に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置。
- 前記積層ステージは、前記シート状電極の積層枚数に応じて、その高さが調整可能であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置。
- 前記積層ステージ上に積層された、セパレータ及びシート状電極から構成される積層体の積層方向両端部を把持する把持手段をさらに備え、該把持手段は、前記積層体の周囲に前記セパレータの巻き付けを可能とする回転機構を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載の連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置。
- 前記セパレータは、複数の連続するテープ状のセパレータを積層して多重化されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載の連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置。
- 前記セパレータは、無機化合物の複合材料又は全芳香族ポリアミド材料にて形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載の連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置。
- 前記シート状正電極は、金属箔の両面に正極活物質が塗布されたリチウムイオン電池用正電極であり、前記シート状負電極は、金属箔の両面に負極活物質が塗布されたリチウムイオン電池用負電極であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし10のいずれかに記載の連続セパレータ及びシート状電極の積層装置。
