Claims (1)
- 内周面の軸方向に離隔した2箇所位置設けられた、それぞれ複数の玉が転動する1対の外輪軌道と、外周面の一部で、軸方向位置がこれら両外輪軌道同士の間の軸方向中央位置から外れた部分に設けられた、車輪又は懸架装置の一部を結合固定する為のフランジとを備えた車輪支持用軸受ユニット用軌道輪に関して、中心軸を含む切断面での、複数の輪状のフローラインが中心から外側に向かって重なって成る略年輪状のファイバーフローのうち、最も中心部に位置するフローラインにより、その外縁を規定される内側部分の総てを、軸方向に関して上記両外輪軌道から外れたこれら両外輪軌道同士の間に位置させるべく、軸方向寸法が長い丸棒状の素材に据え込み加工を施して、軸方向寸法が短く且つ直径が大きい短円柱状の第一中間素材とした後、この第一中間素材に鍛造加工を施して、外周面に上記フランジを形成すると共に、軸方向両端面の中心部にそれぞれ凹部を設け、これら両凹部同士の間に存在する円板部を、上記両外輪軌道となるべき部分同士の間部分の軸方向中央部に位置させた第二中間素材としてから、この第二中間素材の中間部に設けた上記円板部を打ち抜く工程を有する車輪支持用軸受ユニット用軌道輪の製造方法。
