Description
本実施形態の変形例について図10を参照しつつ説明する。図10は、電界効果トランジスタFET1を拡大した図である。上述した本実施形態においては、アクチュエータユニット21及びグランド間の抵抗値を電界効果トランジスタFET1のみが決定する構成であるが、図10に示すように、電界効果トランジスタFET1のドレイン−ソース間に固定抵抗R1を並列に接続してもよい。これによると、アクチュエータユニット21及びグランド間の抵抗値を容易に低くすることができる。これにより、抵抗値の調整範囲が大きい高精度で安価な可変抵抗素子を用いることができる。

Claims (4)
- 複数の圧力室に関連付けられた複数の個別電極、共通電極及び前記複数の個別電極と前記共通電極との間に配置された圧電層を含んでいるアクチュエータと、
前記アクチュエータを駆動するパルスを前記個別電極に出力する波形出力手段と、
前記アクチュエータの前記共通電極に直列に接続された電界効果トランジスタと、
前記電界効果トランジスタのゲートを制御する制御手段と、
環境温度と前記波形出力手段から同時に出力される前記パルスの数との組み合わせにそれぞれ対応した前記電界効果トランジスタの複数の抵抗値を記憶している抵抗決定テーブル記憶部とを備えており、
前記制御手段は、前記環境温度及び前記波形出力手段から同時に出力される前記パルスの数に基づいて、前記抵抗決定テーブル記憶部の記憶内容から前記電界効果トランジスタの抵抗値を決定し、前記電界効果トランジスタの抵抗値がその決定された抵抗値となるように前記電界効果トランジスタのゲートを制御することを特徴とするインクジェット記録装置。 - 前記電界効果トランジスタの抵抗値は、前記電界トランジスタのゲート・ソース間電圧と前記電界効果トランジスタのドレイン電流とによって設定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録装置。
- 前記抵抗決定テーブル記憶部は、前記環境温度が低くなるに伴って、前記電界効果トランジスタの抵抗値が小さくなるように記憶していることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のインクジェット記録装置。
- 前記抵抗決定テーブル記憶部は、前記波形出力手段から同時に出力される前記パルスの数が増加するに伴って、前記電界効果トランジスタの抵抗値が小さくなるように記憶していることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のインクジェット記録装置。
