Claims (8)
- 複数の画素がアレイ状に配列された表示領域と、該表示領域内に形成された表示領域内配線と前記画素を駆動する駆動回路とを接続する周辺領域配線が形成された周辺領域とを基板上に備える画像表示装置において、
1つの表示領域内配線に複数の周辺領域配線が共通に接続されており、該複数の周辺領域配線が、第1の材料で形成される第1配線層を有する第1の周辺領域配線と、前記第1の材料と異なる抵抗率及び前記第1の材料と異なる耐腐食性を有する第2の材料で形成される第2配線層を有する第2の周辺領域配線とを含むことを特徴とする画像表示装置。 - 前記1つの表示領域内配線が、複数の行又は複数の列の画素に共通に接続される共通配線である、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置。
- 前記第1の材料がITOであり、前記第2の材料が金属である、請求項1又は2に記載の画像表示装置。
- 前記金属が、積層された複数の金属を含む、請求項3に記載の画像表示装置。
- 前記第2の周辺領域配線が、更に前記第1の材料で形成される第3配線層を前記第2配線層の下層側又は上層側に有する、請求項3又は4に記載の画像表示装置。
- 前記第2の材料がMo又はAlである、請求項3〜5の何れか一に記載の画像表示装置。
- 前記複数の周辺領域配線上に形成されるパッドが、前記第1の材料で形成される、請求項1〜6の何れか一に記載の画像表示装置。
- 液晶表示装置として構成される、請求項1〜7の何れか一に記載の画像表示装置。
