Claims (2)
- 燃料噴射弁を有するエンジンと、ロックアップクラッチ付のトルクコンバータを有する自動変速機とを搭載する車両の制御装置であって、
車両減速時に前記燃料噴射弁による燃料供給を停止させて、フューエルカット後にエンジン回転速度が所定の閾値に低下するとフューエルカットを解除して前記燃料噴射弁による燃料供給を再開させるフューエルカット管理手段と、
前記フューエルカットを実行したときに前記ロックアップクラッチをスリップ制御してエンジン回転速度の低下を緩やかにする第1フューエルカット長期化手段と、
前記フューエルカットおよびスリップ制御の実行中にエンジン回転速度が、前記フューエルカット解除用の閾値よりも所定量だけ高く設定されたコーストダウン用の閾値にまで低下したときに、車両走行路が、仮にダウンシフトした場合にエンジンを被駆動状態にすることが可能な降り勾配であるか否かを判定し、可能であればダウンシフトを許可する第2フューエルカット長期化手段とを含む、ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の車両の制御装置において、
前記第2フューエルカット長期化手段は、前記判定結果が不可能であれば、ダウンシフトを禁止するとともに、前記フューエルカットおよびスリップ制御を中止する、ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
