駆動軸に動力を出力する動力出力装置であって、
内燃機関と、
動力を入出力可能な第1電動機と、
動力を入出力可能な第2電動機と、
前記内燃機関の出力軸である機関軸と前記第1電動機の回転軸である第1電動機軸と第3の軸との3軸に接続され該3軸のうちのいずれか2軸に入出力される動力に基づいて残余の軸に動力を入出力する3軸式動力入出力手段と、
前記第2電動機の回転軸である第2電動機軸と前記第3の軸との接続および接続の解除を行なう第1接続解除手段と、
前記第2電動機軸と前記機関軸との接続および接続の解除を行なう第2接続解除手段と、
前記駆動軸と前記第3の軸との接続および接続の解除を行なう第3接続解除手段と、
前記駆動軸と前記第1電動機軸との接続および接続の解除を行なう第4接続解除手段と、
を備えることを要旨とする。
モータMG2の回転軸45の略延長上に配置されたエンジン22のクランクシャフト26に固定されたエンジン側ギヤ96と、第2可動部材97と、第2可動部材97を移動させるためのアクチュエータ98と、からなる。エンジン側ギヤ96は、モータ側ギヤ92と同一形状に形成されており、モータ側ギヤ92とエンジン側ギヤ96とは所定間隔を隔てて配置されている。第2可動部材97は、モータ側ギヤ92およびエンジン側ギヤ96と噛合可能な歯が内周側に設けられており、軸方向に所定間隔に相当する距離より若干長い距離を進退移動可能である。この第2接続解除機構95は、モータ側ギヤ92の回転数とエンジン側ギヤ96の回転数とが略同一であるときにアクチュエータ98によって第2可動部材97を軸方向に進退移動させることにより、モータ側ギヤ92とエンジン側ギヤ96との接続や接続の解除即ちモータMG2の回転軸45とエンジン22のクランクシャフト26との接続や接続の解除を行なうことができる。
Claims (13)
- 駆動軸に動力を出力する動力出力装置であって、
内燃機関と、
動力を入出力可能な第1電動機と、
動力を入出力可能な第2電動機と、
前記内燃機関の出力軸である機関軸と前記第1電動機の回転軸である第1電動機軸と第3の軸との3軸に接続され該3軸のうちのいずれか2軸に入出力される動力に基づいて残余の軸に動力を入出力する3軸式動力入出力手段と、
前記第2電動機の回転軸である第2電動機軸と前記第3の軸との接続および接続の解除を行なう第1接続解除手段と、
前記第2電動機軸と前記機関軸との接続および接続の解除を行なう第2接続解除手段と、
前記駆動軸と前記第3の軸との接続および接続の解除を行なう第3接続解除手段と、
前記駆動軸と前記第1電動機軸との接続および接続の解除を行なう第4接続解除手段と、
を備える動力出力装置。 - 前記駆動軸の回転数が所定の低回転領域のときには、前記第1接続解除手段により前記第2電動機軸と前記第3の軸とが接続されると共に前記第2接続解除手段により前記第2電動機軸と前記機関軸との接続が解除され前記第3接続解除手段により前記駆動軸と前記第3の軸とが接続され前記第4接続解除手段により前記駆動軸と前記第1電動機軸との接続が解除される第1接続状態となるよう前記第1接続解除手段と前記第2接続解除手段と前記第3接続解除手段と前記第4接続解除手段とを制御する制御手段を備える請求項1記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記駆動軸の回転数が所定の高回転領域のときには、前記第1接続解除手段により前記第2電動機軸と前記第3の軸との接続が解除されると共に前記第2接続解除手段により前記第2電動機軸と前記機関軸とが接続され前記第3接続解除手段により前記駆動軸と前記第3の軸とが接続され前記第4接続解除手段により前記駆動軸と前記第1電動機軸との接続が解除される第2接続状態となるよう制御する手段である請求項2記載の動力出力装置。

前記制御手段は、前記駆動軸の回転数が前記所定の高回転領域にあって前記第1電動機軸が前記機関軸および前記第3の軸とは逆方向に回転しているときに前記第2接続状態となるよう制御する手段である
動力出力装置。 - 請求項3または4記載の動力出力装置であって、
前記第3の軸に連結され、前記第1電動機軸の回転数が所定回転数のときに前記機関軸と略同一の回転数で回転する第1連結回転軸を有する第1連結回転機構を備え、
前記第1接続解除手段は、前記第2電動機軸と前記第1連結回転機構との接続および接続の解除を行なう手段であり、
前記制御手段は、前記第1接続状態であって前記第1電動機軸の回転数が所定回転数のとき、前記第1連結回転軸と前記機関軸との回転同期を伴って前記第1接続状態から前記第2接続状態に切り替わるよう制御する手段である
動力出力装置。 - 前記所定回転数は、略値0である請求項5記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記第1接続状態から前記第2接続状態に切り替える際、前記第1接続解除手段により前記第2電動機軸と前記第1連結回転機構とが接続されると共に前記第2接続解除手段により前記第2電動機軸と前記機関軸とが接続される第1切替状態を経て前記第1接続状態から前記第2接続状態に切り替わるよう制御する手段である請求項5または6記載の動力出力装置。
- 請求項5ないし7いずれか記載の動力出力装置であって、
前記第1接続解除手段は、前記第2電動機軸と前記第1連結回転軸との接続および接続の解除を行なうドグクラッチを有する手段であり、
前記第2接続解除手段は、前記第2電動機軸と前記機関軸との接続および接続の解除を行なうドグクラッチを有する手段である
動力出力装置。 - 前記制御手段は、前記駆動軸の回転数が所定の高回転領域のときには、前記第1接続解除手段により前記第2電動機軸と前記第3の軸とが接続されると共に前記第2接続解除手段により前記第2電動機軸と前記機関軸との接続が解除され前記第3接続解除手段により前記駆動軸と前記第3の軸との接続が解除され前記第4接続解除手段により前記駆動軸と前記第1電動機軸とが接続される第3接続状態となるよう制御する手段である請求項2記載の動力出力装置。
- 請求項9記載の動力出力装置であって、
前記第3の軸に連結された第2連結回転軸を有する第2連結回転機構と、
前記第1電動機軸に連結され、前記第1電動機軸と前記機関軸とが所定回転状態のときに前記第2連結回転軸と略同一の回転数で回転する第3連結回転機構と、
を備え、
前記第3接続解除手段は、前記駆動軸と前記第2連結回転軸との接続および接続の解除を行なう手段であり、
前記第4接続解除手段は、前記駆動軸と前記第3連結回転軸との接続および接続の解除を行なう手段であり、
前記制御手段は、前記第3接続状態であって前記第1電動機軸と前記機関軸とが所定回転状態のとき、前記第2連結回転軸と前記第3連結回転軸との回転同期を伴って前記第1接続状態から前記第3接続状態に切り替わるよう制御する手段である
動力出力装置。 - 前記制御手段は、前記第1接続状態から前記第3接続状態に切り替える際、前記第3接続解除手段により前記駆動軸と前記第2連結回転軸とが接続されると共に前記第4接続解除手段により前記駆動軸と前記第3連結回転軸とが接続される第2切替状態を経て前記第1接続状態から前記第3接続状態に切り替わるよう制御する手段である請求項10記載の動力出力装置。
- 請求項10または11記載の動力出力装置であって、
前記第3接続解除手段は、前記駆動軸と前記第2連結回転軸との接続および接続の解除を行なうドグクラッチを有する手段であり、
前記第4接続解除手段は、前記駆動軸と前記第3連結回転軸との接続および接続の解除を行なうドグクラッチを有する手段である
動力出力装置。 - 請求項1ないし12記載の動力出力装置を搭載し、車軸が前記駆動軸に連結されてなる車両。
