Claims (3)
- 所定の距離を置いて対向して配置された上部基板及び下部基板と、
前記上部基板及び前記下部基板間に介装され、誘電率異方性が負である液晶を含む液晶層と、
前記上部基板の前記下部基板に対向する側の表面上に形成され、各単位画素の内部に規則的に形成される所定数の環状のくぼみを備えるカラーレジン層と、
前記くぼみを備える前記カラーレジン層を覆うように形成された対向電極と、
前記下部基板の前記上部基板に対向する側の表面上に形成され、前記上部基板の前記くぼみで囲まれる領域の内部及び外部に形成される十字形状のスリットパターンを備える画素電極と、
前記画素電極及び前記液晶層の間並びに前記対向電極及び前記液晶層の間のそれぞれに介装された配向膜とを備えることを特徴とするVVAモード液晶表示装置。 - 前記くぼみが、円形環又は多角形環の環状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のVVAモード液晶表示装置。
- 前記上部基板の前記くぼみで囲まれる領域の内部に形成されている前記スリットパターンの形状が、前記くぼみで囲まれる領域の外部に形成されている前記スリットパターンの形状と異なることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のVVAモード液晶表示装置。
