Description
また、上記運動変換機構を、回転角度検出器の回転軸に一端部が結合されたセンサアームと、前記プライマリピストンの突出部分に植立され、先端部を前記センサアームの他端部に係合させたセンサピンとからなる構成とした場合は、構造簡単なストロークセンサが実現する。また、前記センサアームを、付勢手段により回転方向の一方へ付勢されているようにした場合は、センサアームとセンサピンとが常に接触する状態を維持するので、検出精度はより一層向上する。また、前記センサアームを、一端部からの延出方向に対して途中であってその角度が変化するように形成されてなる構成とした場合は、分解能が向上する。さらに、前記センサアームを、プライマリピストンの後退方向に凸に湾曲してなる構成とした場合は、分解能が向上するとともに、ストロークと回転角度との関係が直線的になるので、データ処理が簡単となる。

Claims (5)
- ホイールシリンダに対してフェイルセーフ弁を介して接続されるタンデム型マスタシリンダと、該マスタシリンダ内の液圧室のブレーキ液を導入して、ブレーキペダルの必要なストロークを確保するストロークシミュレータと、前記マスタシリンダのシリンダ本体から一部を突出させたプライマリピストンのストロークを検出するストロークセンサとを備えたマスタシリンダ装置において、前記ストロークセンサは、前記シリンダ本体に取付けられ前記プライマリピストンの突出部分を覆うカバー部内にこれと一体に配設された回転角度検出器と、前記プライマリピストンの直線運動を回転運動に変換して前記回転角度検出器に伝達する運動変換機構とを備えていることを特徴とするマスタシリンダ装置。
- 前記運動変換機構が、回転角検出器の回転軸に一端部が結合されたセンサアームと、前記プライマリピストンの突出部分の端部に植立され、先端部を前記センサアームの他端部に係合させたセンサピンとからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のマスタシリンダ装置。
- 前記センサアームが、付勢手段により回転方向の一方へ付勢されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のマスタシリンダ装置。
- 前記センサアームは、一端部からの延出方向に対して途中であってその角度が変化するように形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のマスタシリンダ装置。
- 前記センサアームは、前記プライマリピストンの後退方向に凸に湾曲してなることを特徴とする請求項2乃至4の何れか1項に記載のマスタシリンダ装置。
