Claims (2)
- マンガン及びシリコン濃度が合わせて2.1%以上である溶鋼を連続鋳造する際に、6〜20wt%のアルミナを含有し、塩基度が1.3〜2.0の範囲内にあり、450ppm以上の水蒸気吸収能を有するモールドパウダーを鋳型内の溶鋼の表面に添加し、該モールドパウダーに鋳型内溶鋼に含まれる水素を水蒸気として吸収させることにより、水素起因の欠陥及び抜熱不良を防止することを特徴とする溶鋼の連続鋳造方法。
- 前記溶鋼中の水素濃度が7ppm以上であって、その水素濃度をH(ppm)、モールドパウダーの水蒸気吸収能をA(ppm)とすると、単位面積当たりの鋳片に対するモールドパウダー添加量Q(kg/m 2 )は、下式(I)に示される範囲内となることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶鋼の連続鋳造方法。
