Description
Claims (10)
- 液体を貯留する液室と、上記液室に液体を供給する供給部と、上記液室に2つ以上設けられ、上記液室に貯留された液体を押圧する圧力発生素子と、上記各圧力発生素子により押圧された液体を上記各液室から液滴の状態で対象物に向かって吐出させる吐出口とを有する吐出手段と、
上記各圧力発生素子の駆動を制御し、上記吐出口より上記液滴を吐出するときの吐出角度を制御する吐出制御手段と、
上記対象物における上記液滴の着弾領域の色調を検出する色調検出手段とを備え、
上記吐出制御手段は、上記液滴の吐出方向を周期的に変化させるように上記吐出手段を制御し上記液滴を上記対象物に着弾させて色調を周期的に変化させたテストパターンを上記対象物に形成し、
上記色調検出手段は、上記テストパターンの所定の色調を検出して色調検出信号を生成し、
上記吐出制御手段は、上記色調検出手段からの色調検出信号に基づいて上記各圧力発生素子の駆動を制御し、上記吐出角度を調整する液体吐出装置。 - 上記吐出口と、上記対象物との間の距離を測定する測定手段を備え、
上記吐出制御手段は、上記測定手段からの距離信号に基づいて上記各圧力発生素子の駆動を制御し、上記吐出角度を調整する請求項1記載の液体吐出装置。 - 上記吐出手段は、上記吐出口が略ライン状に並設されている請求項1記載の液体吐出装置。
- 上記吐出手段は、上記各圧力発生素子に供給されるエネルギの大きさ若しくはエネルギが供給されるタイミングを制御し、上記吐出角度を調整する請求項1記載の液体吐出装置。
- 上記所定の色調は、上記テストパターンの内最も濃い部分である請求項1の液体吐出装置。
- 液体を貯留する液室と、上記液室に液体を供給する供給部と、上記液室に2つ以上設けられ、上記液室に貯留された液体を押圧する圧力発生素子と、上記各圧力発生素子により押圧された液体を上記各液室から液滴の状態で吐出させる吐出口とを有する吐出手段が、上記吐出口より液滴を吐出するときの吐出角度を制御する吐出制御手段により上記各圧力発生素子の駆動が制御されることで上記吐出角度を変化させながら上記吐出口より上記液滴を吐出し、
上記吐出角度を変化させながら上記液滴を対象物に着弾させ、色調を周期的に変化させたテストパターンを上記対象物に形成し、
上記対象物における上記液滴のテストパターンの所定の色調を色調検出手段で検出し、
上記色調検出手段からの色調検出信号に基づいて上記吐出制御手段が上記各圧力発生素
子の駆動を制御し、上記吐出角度を調整する液体吐出調整方法。 - 上記吐出口と、上記対象物との距離を測定手段で測定し、
上記測定手段からの距離信号に基づいて上記吐出制御手段が上記各圧力発生素子の駆動を
制御し、上記吐出角度を調整する請求項6記載の液体吐出調整方法。 - 上記吐出手段の吐出口を略ライン状に並設させる請求項6記載の液体吐出調整方法。
- 上記吐出手段の各圧力発生素子に供給されるエネルギの大きさ若しくはエネルギが供給
されるタイミングを制御し、上記吐出角度を調整する請求項6記載の液体吐出調整方法。 - 上記所定の色調は、上記テストパターンの内最も濃い部分である請求項6の液体吐出方法。
