Description
一方、電気的に着色する溶液である、所謂「エレクトロクロミック溶液」の着色反応により、反射率を変化させる構成としたエレクトロクロミックミラーも知られている(例えば、特許文献2参照)。
したがって、透明基板の表面側(エレクトロクロミック膜および導電性光反射膜が形成された面とは反対側)から透明基板内に入射して導電性光反射膜で反射される光は、着色したエレクトロクロミック膜を通過することによって減光されるため、エレクトロクロミックミラーの反射率が変化し、防眩効果を奏する。
図1には、本発明の第1の参考例に係るエレクトロクロミックミラー10の構成が断面図により示されている。

次に本発明の実施の形態について説明する。なお、前記第1の参考例と基本的に同一の構成・作用については前記第1の参考例と同符号を付してその説明を省略する。

これにより、ガラス基板12の表面側からガラス基板12内に入射して、導電性光反射膜16で反射される光(図1の矢印A参照)は、着色したエレクトロクロミック膜14を通過することによって減光されるため、エレクトロクロミックミラー70の反射率が変化し、防眩効果を奏する。

Claims (4)
- 裏面に還元着色するエレクトロクロミック膜が形成されると共に、ロジウムから成る導電性光反射膜が前記エレクトロクロミック膜の上から重ねて形成された透明基板と、
少なくとも一方の面側において導電性を有する導電部が単一の材料で構成され、前記導電部が前記導電性光反射膜と対向する状態で前記透明基板に近接して設けられた基板と、
少なくともリチウムイオンと、中性分子もしくは負のイオンで酸化可能であって、前記エレクトロクロミック膜の還元反応による着色を保証する材料とを含み、前記透明基板の前記導電性光反射膜と前記基板の前記導電部との間に封入された電解液と、
を備えたエレクトロクロミックミラー。 - 前記基板の前記導電部は、前記基板に形成された導電性を有する電極膜とされる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のエレクトロクロミックミラー。 - 前記透明基板の前記エレクトロクロミック膜の材料は、三酸化タングステン及び三酸化モリブデンのうち少なくとも一方を含んで構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載又は請求項2記載のエレクトロクロミックミラー。 - 前記電解液は、前記電解液と反応しないポリマーもしくは無機物を含有してゲル状とされる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3の何れか1項記載のエレクトロクロミックミラー。
