Claims (4)
- リーディングエッジシースを広げ、かつ、該広げられたリーディングエッジシースをブレードサブアッセンブリに対して位置決めするためのシーススプレッド/挿入装置であって、この装置は、
支柱と、
前記支柱と可動に組み合わされて取り付けられている第一の延在キャリッジ部材と、
前記第一の延在キャリッジ部材に組み合わせて取り付けられている複数の吸引カップと、
前記支柱と可動に組み合わされて取り付けられている第二の延在キャリッジ部材と、
前記第二の延在キャリッジ部材に組み合わせて取り付けられている複数の吸引カップと、
前記第一の延在キャリッジ部材と前記第二の延在キャリッジ部材とにそれぞれに組み合わせて取り付けられている接触状態にない前記複数の吸引カップの間に前記リーディングエッジシースを挿入することができる非結合位置と、前記複数の吸引カップが前記リーディングエッジシースのそれぞれのOML面に吸着結合する結合位置と、前記リーディングエッジシースが前記ブレードサブアッセンブリに対して位置決めするために広げられる操作位置との間において、前記第一の延在キャリッジ部材と、前記第二の延在キャリッジ部材とを同期運動させる同期運動付与手段と、
前記結合位置において、前記複数の吸引カップに前記リーディングエッジシースの前記それぞれのOML面を保持させて、続いて前記第一の延在キャリッジ部材と、前記第二の延在キャリッジ部材とを操作位置へと同期運動させて前記リーディングエッジシースを広げさせるように、前記複数の吸引カップに吸引力を発生させる吸引力発生手段と、
前記ブレードサブアッセンブリに対して前記広げられたリーディングエッジシースを位置決めするように前記広げられたリーディングエッジシースと前記ブレードサブアッセンブリとの間の相対運動を付与する相対運動付与手段と、
を有していることを特徴とするシーススプレッド/挿入装置。 - 前記シーススプレッド/挿入装置は、さらに、前記広げられたリーディングエッジシースが、完全に前記ブレードサブアッセンブリに対して位置決めされたことを示す手段を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシーススプレッド/挿入装置。
- 前記同期運動付与手段は、
前記第一の延在キャリッジ部材と、前記支柱と、に組み合わされて取り付けられている複数の気圧シリンダと、
前記第二の延在キャリッジ部材と、前記支柱と、に組み合わされて取り付けられている複数の気圧シリンダと、
前記複数の気圧シリンダに流体連通されている圧力源と、
を有しており、前記圧力源の駆動により前記複数の気圧シリンダに加圧空気を与えて、前記第一の延在キャリッジ部材と前記第二の延在キャリッジ部材とにそれぞれに組み合わせて取り付けられている接触状態にない複数の前記吸引カップの間に前記リーディングエッジシースを挿入することができる前記非結合位置と、前記複数の吸引カップが前記リーディングエッジシースのそれぞれのOML面に吸着結合される前記結合位置と、前記リーディングエッジシースが前記ブレードサブアッセンブリに対して位置決めするために広げられる前記操作位置との間において、前記第一の延在キャリッジ部材と、前記第二の延在キャリッジ部材とを同期運動させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシーススプレッド/挿入装置。 - 前記第一の延在キャリッジ部材に組み合わされて取り付けられている前記複数の吸引カップは、90個とされており、かつ、前記第二の延在キャリッジ部材に組み合わされて取り付けられている前記複数の吸引カップは、90個とされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシーススプレッド/挿入装置。
