【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、航空機の客室の客席上部に設けられる手荷物収納庫に関する。

【従来の技術】
図５は、一般的な手荷物収納庫の概要を示す説明図である。
全体を符号１で示す航空機は、機体１０の客室１２内の床面２０上に座席３０が固定される。
座席３０の上部には、手荷物収納庫４０が配設される。
この手荷物収納庫４０は、例えば、座席３０の上部に固定される棚部材５４と棚部材５４の開口部に設けられるドア５０により構成され、ドア５０は、ヒンジ５２により開閉自在にとりつけられる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述した従来の手荷物収納庫４０にあっては、棚部材５４とドア５０は、不透明の構造部材で構成されている。手荷物収納庫の使用状態が外部からは確認できない構造であった。
そこで、例えば空席待ちの乗客が乗り込んでくるような、出発間際の時間帯等にあっては、既に閉じられているドアを開いて、手荷物収納庫の空きスペースを確認する必要があった。
この作業は、客室乗務員に負担となり、また、出発準備に要する時間を延長する要因ともなっていた。
そこで本発明は、上述した不具合を解消する航空機客室用手荷物収納庫を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の航空機の手荷物収納庫は、手荷物収納庫の前面の一部に設けられる透明窓を備えるものである。
手荷物収納庫は、客室の天井部に固定される棚部材と、棚部材の開口部に設けられるヒンジドアを備える。また、手荷物収納庫は、箱形の本体を有し、ヒンジを介して下方へ開く構造を備える。
さらに、手荷物収納庫は、箱形の本体と、本体の案内機構を備え、本体全体が斜め下方へ開く構造を備える。
そして、透明窓は強化難燃性樹脂（ポリカーボネート等）により構成され、客室の通路に立つ乗務員が視認しやすい位置に配備されるものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
図１は、本発明の概要図を示す説明図。図２は要部の斜視図である。
航空機１の機体１０の床２０上に座席３０がとりつけられている。座席３０の上部には、本発明の手荷物収納庫１００が装備されている。

図２にも示すように、この手荷物収納庫１００は客室の天井部に固定される棚部材１０２と棚部材１０２の開口部に設けられるドア１１０を有し、ドア１１０は、ドア上部に設けられているヒンジ１２０により、上方へ開くことができる。
ドア１１０の中央部には、開閉用のノブ１３０がとりつけられており、ドア１１０の一部に透明の窓１５０が設けられている

この透明窓１５０は客室の床２０の通路上に立つ客室乗務員Ａが閉じられているドア１１０の内部を視認することができる位置に設けられる。
透明窓１５０は、例えば強化難燃性（ポリカーボネート等）樹脂板等がはめ込まれて構成される。透明窓１５０の寸法、形状は、手荷物収納庫内部の空きスペースの有無を視認する目的が達成されれば足り、過度に内部を見通しできるものである必要はない。

図３は、本発明の他の実施例を示す説明図である。
手荷物収納庫２００は箱形の本体を有する部材であって、航空機の天井構造部２０２に対して、図示しないヒンジを介して下方へ開くように装備される。
手荷物収納庫２００の前面には、開閉用のノブ２１０の左右位置に透明窓２５０が設けられる。透明窓の設置位置は、内部の使用状態を確認するのに適した位置で、かつ、手荷物収納庫の強度に悪影響を与えることがないように配慮される。

図４は、本発明の更に他の実施例を示す説明図である。
手荷物収納庫３００は箱形の本体を有する部材であって、航空機の天井構造部３０２に対して、図示しない案内機構を介して、全体が斜め下方へ開くように装備される。
手荷物収納庫３００の前面には、開閉用のノブ３５０が設けられ、ノブ３１０に隣接して透明窓３５０が設けられる。透明窓の設置位置は、内部の使用状態を確認するのに適した位置で、かつ、手荷物収納庫の強度に悪影響を与えることがないように配慮される。

【発明の効果】
本発明の航空機用の手荷物収納庫は以上のように、手荷物収納庫の前面に透明窓を設けて、通路に立つ客室乗務員や乗客が、手荷物収納庫内のスペースの有無を外から視認することができるように構成したものである。
客室乗務員等は、手荷物収納庫を開くことなく、内部の使用状況を視認できるので、空きスペースがある手荷物収納庫を迅速に発見して、乗客の手荷物を収納することができる。
したがって、先に搭乗した乗客が自己の手荷物を収納して閉じた状態の手荷物収納庫に対して、後から搭乗してくる乗客の手荷物を収納するスペースを容易に見出して、出発準備を早期に完了することができ、スムーズな運航に資することができる効果を有する。

Claims (1)

  1. 航空機の客室の座席の上部に装備される手荷物収納庫であって、
    該手荷物収納庫は、機体側に固定された棚部材と、該棚部材の開口部に設けられたドアと、ドア上部に設けられたヒンジと、ドアの中央部に設けられたノブと、ノブの両側に設けられた細長い切り口形状の透明窓を備え、
    該細長い切り口形状の透明窓は前記手荷物収納庫に収納されている手荷物を乗務員が客室の通路に立った位置で視認することができる位置で、かつ前記手荷物収納庫が収納位置にあるときに収納庫の内部空間の状況が観察可能であるとともに、該細長い切り口形状の透明窓は、第１の細長い切り口形状の透明窓と、この第１の細長い切り口形状の透明窓から離れた位置に配置された第２の細長い切り口形状の透明窓からなり、該第１と第２の細長い切り口形状の透明窓は、水平方向に伸びる共通の直線に沿って配置されていることを特徴とする航空機の手荷物収納庫。
