Claims (5)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられた排気浄化触媒と、前記排気浄化触媒を通過した排気中の硫黄酸化物及び硫化水素の合計濃度と前記硫黄酸化物の濃度とをそれぞれ検出可能な濃度検出手段と、前記排気浄化触媒の温度を取得する触媒温度取得手段と、排気の空燃比がストイキ又はリッチであると判断した場合に前記濃度検出手段の検出値に基づいて燃料に含まれる硫黄の濃度を推定し、前記触媒温度取得手段の取得した温度が所定温度未満である場合に推定した硫黄の濃度の使用を許可する硫黄濃度推定手段と、を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられた排気浄化触媒と、前記排気浄化触媒を通過した排気中の硫黄酸化物及び硫化水素の合計濃度と前記硫黄酸化物の濃度とをそれぞれ検出可能な濃度検出手段と、排気の空燃比がストイキ又はリッチであると判断した場合、前記濃度検出手段の検出値に基づいて燃料に含まれる硫黄の濃度を推定する硫黄濃度推定手段と、前記排気浄化触媒の温度を取得する触媒温度取得手段と、を備え、
前記硫黄濃度推定手段は、前記触媒温度取得手段の取得した温度が所定温度以上であると判断した場合に燃料に含まれる硫黄の濃度の推定を禁止することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 排気の空燃比をストイキ又はリッチに制御する空燃比制御手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記空燃比制御手段は、所定の周期で排気の空燃比を一時的にリッチ側に設定するリッチスパイクを実施し、
前記空燃比制御手段は、硫黄濃度推定時における排気の空燃比を前記リッチスパイク時より長い時間リッチ側に維持する制御、又は排気の空燃比を前記リッチスパイク時よりさらにリッチ側にする制御の少なくともいずれか一方の制御を実施するリッチ量増加手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記排気浄化触媒として吸蔵還元型のNOx触媒が設けられ、
前記NOx触媒に吸蔵されたNOx量を推定するNOx吸蔵量推定手段を備え、
前記空燃比制御手段は、前記NOx吸蔵量推定手段により推定されたNOx吸蔵量が所定量以上であると判断した場合に排気の空燃比をストイキ又はリッチに制御することを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
