Claims (6)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられた吸蔵還元型のNOx触媒と、前記NOx触媒を通過した排気中の硫黄酸化物及び硫化水素の合計濃度と前記硫黄酸化物の濃度とをそれぞれ検出可能な濃度検出手段と、前記NOx触媒から硫黄酸化物が放出されるように前記内燃機関の運転状態を制御するS被毒回復処理を実行可能な被毒回復制御手段と、前記NOx触媒のS被毒量が所定量以上であり、かつ前記NOx触媒から硫黄酸化物が放出される条件であるときに前記濃度検出手段から異常判定値以上の検出値が出力されない場合、前記濃度検出手段に異常があると診断する異常診断手段と、を備え、
前記異常診断手段は、前記内燃機関の排気空燃比が理論空燃比よりもリッチ域にあるとき、前記合計濃度と前記硫黄酸化物濃度とから導き出される硫化水素の濃度が所定判定時間に亘って負の値であると判断した場合に前記濃度検出手段に異常があると診断することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記濃度検出手段は、前記合計濃度を検出する第一の検出部と、前記硫黄酸化物濃度を検出する第二の検出部と、を有し、
前記第一の検出部の温度と前記第二の検出部の温度とを調整する温度調整手段を備え、
前記第一の検出部と前記第二の検出部とは温度に応じて検出値が変化し、
前記異常診断手段は、前記濃度検出手段に異常があると診断した場合、前記温度調整手段によって前記第一の検出部と前記第二の検出部とを昇温し、前記温度調整手段による昇温に伴う検出値の変化が異常判別範囲内である検出部に異常があると判別する異常箇所判別手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記濃度検出手段は、前記合計濃度を検出する第一の検出部と、前記硫黄酸化物濃度を検出する第二の検出部と、を有し、
前記異常診断手段は、前記濃度検出手段に異常があると診断した場合、前記濃度検出手段への酸素供給が停止されるように前記内燃機関の運転状態を制御し、酸素供給停止時に検出値が異常箇所判別値以下に低下しない検出部に異常があると判別する異常箇所判別手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記濃度検出手段の温度を調整する温度調整手段を備え、
前記異常診断手段は、前記濃度検出手段に異常があると診断した場合、前記濃度検出手段が通常時目標温度より高い温度に昇温されるように前記温度調整手段の動作を制御する異常回復手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記異常診断手段は、前記濃度検出手段に異常があると診断した場合、前記NOx触媒が昇温されるように前記内燃機関の運転状態を制御して前記NOx触媒を通過した排気を昇温させる異常回復手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記異常回復手段は、前記濃度検出手段の昇温時に前記濃度検出手段に供給される酸素量が増加されるように前記内燃機関の運転状態を制御することを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
