【発明の利用分野】
この発明はインターネットファクシミリ装置に関し、特に１台のインターネットファクシミリ装置に複数のアカウントを設けて、使い勝手を向上させることに関する。

【従来技術】
インターネットファクシミリ装置は、電子メール形式でファクシミリの送受信を行う装置である。この場合、ファクシミリデータは電子メールの添付ファイルとして扱われる。ところで電子メールではユーザ毎にメールボックスを設けることができ、例えばメールアドレスが △△△＠＊＊＊.com.jp の場合、アドレス中の △△△ はメールボックスの名称（アカウント）で、１台のメールサーバに複数のメールボックスを設けることができる。

しかしながらインターネットファクシミリの場合、複数のアカウントを設けることは行われていない。また仮にインターネットファクシミリ装置に複数のアカウントを設けたとしても、インターネットファクシミリ装置のスキャナで原稿を読み取って送信する場合、送信者がアカウントの指定を忘れることが考えられる。さらにアカウントを持たないユーザは、インターネットファクシミリ装置を使用できないことになる。

【発明の課題】
この発明の基本的課題は、アカウントを指定しての送受信も、アカウント無指定での送受信もできる、インターネットファクシミリ装置を提供することにある（請求項１，２）。
この発明での追加の課題は、受信したインターネットファクシミリの配信を容易に行えるようにすることにある。
請求項２の発明での追加の課題は、Ｇ３ファクシミリやＧ４ファクシミリなどの在来型のファクシミリを受信した際にも、自動的に配信できるようにすることにある。

【発明の構成】
この発明は、電子メール形式でファクシミリを送受信するインターネットファクシミリ装置において、複数のアカウントを設けると共に、少なくともその１つを共用のアカウントとし、かつ電子メールの送受信時に、アカウントのデフォールト値を前記共用のアカウントとして、アカウントの指定を受け付けるための手段と、指定されたアカウントを用いて電子メールの送受信を行うための手段を設けると共に、前記各アカウントに受信電子メールの配信先を記録した配信テーブルを設けたことを特徴とする（請求項１）。

好ましくは、前記共用アカウントには受信電子メールの配信先及び受信した在来型ファクシミリの配信先を記録した配信テーブルを設ける（請求項２）。

【発明の作用と効果】
この発明では、インターネットファクシミリ装置に複数のアカウントを設けるので、ユーザは自分のあるいは自分たちのグループのアカウントを持つことができ、使い勝手が向上する。次にアカウント無指定での送受信がなされた場合に備えて共用のアカウントを設け、アカウント無指定の場合はこの共用のアカウントが指定されたものとする。このため送信時や受信時にアカウントを指定しないユーザがいても、共用アカウントでの送信や受信となり、混乱を来さない。

この発明では、各アカウントに受信した電子メールの配信先（転送先）を記録した配信テーブルを設けるので、配信先をアカウント毎に指定できる。特に請求項２の発明では、在来型のファクシミリを受信した場合、共用アカウントの配信テーブルを用いて自動的に配信できる。

【実施例】
図１〜図４に、実施例を示す。図１に、実施例のインターネットファクシミリ装置１の使用環境を示す。２はＬＡＮで、３はメールサーバで、図ではインターネットファクシミリ装置1とは別体の装置として示すが、インターネットファクシミリ装置１がメールサーバ３を兼用しても良い。４〜６はパーソナルコンピュータなどの通信端末で、このうち通信端末４はＬＡＮ２の管理者の通信端末で、５，６は一般ユーザＡ，Ｂの通信端末である。

インターネットファクシミリ装置１は、公衆電話回線網などを介してＧ３ファクシミリ装置８に接続され、ルータ１０を介してインターネット１１に接続されている。Ｇ３ファクシミリ装置８は在来型のファクシミリ装置の例で、Ｇ４ファクシミリ装置などでもよい。またインターネット１１に接続された通信端末のうちで、インターネットファクシミリ装置１への送信元となる通信端末を１２で示し、インターネットファクシミリ装置１からの送信先となる通信端末を１３で示す。

図２に、インターネットファクシミリ装置１の構成を示す。２０は主制御部で、インターネットファクシミリ装置１の全体の制御を行い、２１は網制御部で、公衆電話回線網との接続を確立し、２２はモデムである。２３は画像メモリで、画像データとしてのファクシミリデータなどを記憶する。２４はＲＡＭで、作業中のデータなどを記憶し、２５はプログラムなどを記憶したＲＯＭである。２６は表示部で、ＬＥＤやＬＣＤディスプレイなどによりユーザに対する表示を行う。２７は操作部で、ユーザは、キーボード２８からメールアドレスやファクシミリ番号などの送信先アドレスなどを入力する。

インターネットファクシミリ装置１は複数のユーザに共有されており、自分用のアカウントを持つことを望むユーザに対しては、ユーザ毎あるいはユーザのグループ毎のアカウントが割り当てられ、これ以外に、ユーザがアカウントを指定せずに送受信する場合に、共用アカウントを用いる。また共用アカウントに対する配信テーブルは、Ｇ３などの在来型のファクシミリ装置からファクシミリを受信した場合に、配信先を定めるためにも用いる。さらに操作部２７には、表示部２６のＬＣＤディスプレイと重ね合わせるようにタッチパネルを設けて、アカウントのリストや送信先のリストなどを表示して、ユーザが指定できるようにする。

アカウント指定部２９は、電子メールでのインターネットファクシミリの送信時に、送信元のアカウントの指定を受け付け、具体的にはタッチパネルへの入力やキーボードからのアカウントの指定を受け付ける。そして指定されたアカウントが送信元のアカウント（メールアドレス）となり、アカウントが指定されない場合は共用アカウントが送信元のアカウントとなる。なお共用アカウントはＬＡＮ管理者のアカウントでもあり、一般ユーザとＬＡＮ管理者とを区別するために、パスワードなどを用いて一般ユーザの共用アカウントへのアクセスを制限しても良い。共用アカウントを管理者と一般ユーザとで共有する代わりに、一般ユーザ用の共用アカウントと管理者用の専用アカウントとを設けても良い。

アカウント作成部３０は新規アカウントの作成を、そのアカウント名の入力と共に受け付け、共用アカウントはインターネットファクシミリ装置１の出荷時に設定済みで、新規に作成されるアカウントは原則としてユーザ毎のアカウントである。３１は送信の開始などを指令するためのスタートキーである。３２はスキャナで、原稿画像を読み取るためのものであり、３３は記録部で、例えばプリンタとする。

アカウントを管理するため、アカウント管理部３５を設けて、アカウントのリストを記憶する。またアカウント管理部３５は、配信テーブル３６や、電子メールの受信ログ３７と送信ログ３８とを、アカウント毎に区分けして管理する。なおこの区分けは、論理的なものでも物理的なものでも良い。図には示さなかったが、ワンタッチダイヤルや送信先のメールアドレスリストなどの資源もアカウント毎に区分けして管理し、例えば送信元のアカウントが指定されると、送信元のアカウントに対するワンタッチダイヤルやメールアドレスのリストをタッチパネル等に表示し、送信先の入力を容易にする。

配信テーブル３６中で、共用アカウントに対する配信先のデータは、共用アカウントでインターネットファクシミリを受信した場合や、Ｇ３やＧ４などの在来型ファクシミリを受信した場合に用いる。このデータの内容は、配信先（転送先）のメールアドレスやファクシミリ番号と、インターネットファクシミリ装置１でのプリントの要否などである。またユーザ毎のアカウントに対する配信テーブル３６での配信データも同様に、転送先のメールアドレスやファクシミリ番号と、インターネットファクシミリ装置１でのプリントの要否などである。ただし在来型ファクシミリを受信した際の配信先は共用アカウントの配信テーブルで定めるので、在来型ファクシミリを受信した際の配信先をユーザ毎のアカウントの配信テーブルに記録する必要はない。

４０は送／受信識別部で、原稿がセットされ、かつ宛先（メールアドレスやファクシミリ番号などの送信先）が指定された状態で、スタートキー３１が押された場合、送信を行うものとする。これに対して、スキャナ３２に原稿がセットされず、かつ宛先がキーボード２８などから入力されないまま、スタートキー３１が押された場合、メールサーバ３からの手動受信を行うものとする。また原稿がセットされずに宛先が指定されてスタートキー３１が押された場合や、原稿がセットされたが宛先が未指定でスタートキー３１が押された場合は、表示部２６に「原稿をセットして下さい」，「宛先を指定して下さい」などの表示を行う。ここに手動受信は、指定されたアカウントに対応するメールボックスから、もしくはアカウントが無指定の場合は共用アカウントに対応するメールボックスから、メールサーバが受信した電子メールでインターネットファクシミリ装置１では未取り出しのものを原則として全数取り出し、プリントする処理である。４２はＬＡＮインターフェースで、ＬＡＮ２を介してメールサーバ３などと接続されている。

図３に、実施例のインターネットファクシミリ装置での送受信のアルゴリズムを示す。ステップ１でインターネットファクシミリかＧ３ファクシミリかのモードの指定をトグルキーから受け付け、インターネットファクシミリであるかどうかをステップ２でチェックし、インターネットファクシミリ以外の場合はステップ３で他の処理を行う。ここでの他の処理については後述する。インターネットファクシミリの場合、ステップ４で、原稿をセットし、宛先のメールアドレスを指定し、送信元のアカウントの指定を受け付ける。ここで宛先の指定を容易にするため、アカウントが指定されると、そのアカウントに対する送信先のメールアドレスのリストなどをタッチパネルなどに表示し、ワンタッチで送信先を指定できるようにする。また送信元のアカウントが無指定の場合、共用アカウントが指定されたものとし、これらの指定は、ステップ５でスタートキーが押されて送受信が指示されるまで、いつでも変更できる。

スタートキーが押された際に、原稿が存在しかつ宛先が指定済みの場合は送信とし、これらのいずれもが指定されていない場合は受信とする（ステップ６）。なお原稿がセットされているが宛先が未指定、あるいは宛先が指定されているが原稿が未セットの場合、ステップ７で「宛先を指定して下さい」、「原稿をセットして下さい」などを表示部に表示し、宛先の指定や原稿のセットを促す。送信の場合、原稿を読み取り、ステップ８でアカウントの指定の有無をチェックし、アカウント指定がある場合、ステップ９で指定されたアカウントから送信する。またアカウント無指定の場合、共用アカウントから送信する（ステップ１０）。

受信の場合、アカウントの指定の有無をステップ１１でチェックし、アカウントが指定されている場合は指定されたアカウントで手動受信する（ステップ１１）。またアカウントが無指定の場合は、共用アカウントで手動受信する（ステップ１３）。ここでの手動受信は、所定のアカウントに対応するメールボックスから、到着済みで未読み出しの電子メールを原則として全数出力（プリント）することを意味する。

アカウント毎の自動受信の処理を図４に示す。配信テーブルにはアカウント毎に、送信元のメールアドレス等の情報に基づいて、配信先のメールアドレスやファクシミリ番号を決定するためのデータが記載されており、これ以外にインターネットファクシミリ装置でのプリントの要否が記載されている。このため配信テーブルに記載された送信元に対して、配信先のメールアドレスやファクシミリ番号とプリントの要否が定まり、配信先は１以上任意の数である。なお配信テーブルに記載のない送信元に対して、インターネットファクシミリ装置で自動的にプリントするか否かも、配信テーブルにアカウント毎に記録する。

図３のステップ３での他の処理は、Ｇ３などのファクシミリの送受信に関するもので、Ｇ３ファクシミリの送信自体はアカウントとは特に関係がない。Ｇ３ファクシミリを受信した場合、ＴＳＩ（発信者識別符号）やＦコードなどを受信できる。そして送信元のＴＳＩやＦコードなどに対して、配信先のメールアドレスやファクシミリ番号などを配信テーブルの共用アカウントの欄に記憶し、合わせてインターネットファクシミリ装置でのプリントの要否を記憶する。このようにすると、Ｇ３ファクシミリを受信した場合でも、共用アカウントを使用して、所定の配信先に自動的に配信できる。

Claims (2)

  1. 電子メール形式でファクシミリを送受信するインターネットファクシミリ装置において、
    複数のアカウントを設けると共に、少なくともその１つを共用のアカウントとし、
    かつ電子メールの送受信時に、アカウントのデフォールト値を前記共用のアカウントとして、アカウントの指定を受け付けるための手段と、
    指定されたアカウントを用いて電子メールの送受信を行うための手段を設けると共に、
    前記各アカウントに受信電子メールの配信先を記録した配信テーブルを設けたことを特徴とするインターネットファクシミリ装置。
  2. 前記共用アカウントには受信電子メールの配信先及び受信した在来型ファクシミリの配信先を記録した配信テーブルを設けたことを特徴とする、請求項１のインターネットファクシミリ装置。
