本発明は、合わせガラスを粉砕して、ガラス片と中間膜片とに分離して回収する装置に関する。

合わせガラスの断面図である図4に示すように、2枚のガラス板5a、5b間にポリビニルブチラール等の透明樹脂から成る中間膜5cを挟み込んで、接着一体化させた合わせガラス5は、主に自動車のフロントガラスや、建物の窓ガラス等に使用される。

近年、地球環境のクリーンな維持のために、資源の再利用が推進されており、車両用窓や建築物用窓等の使用済廃合わせガラス、或いは合わせガラスの製造工程で不良品となった合わせガラスについて、合わせガラスをガラス部分と中間膜部分とに分離し、これらを再利用しようとする試みが行われている。

このような技術として、特開平6−190298号公報、および特開平7−155634号公報には、板状建材の破砕処理装置、廃ガラス製品粉砕機が開示されている。

一方、本出願人の出願による特開昭56−149340号公報には、上部に合わせガラスの投入口を、下部に排出口を有する粉砕室内に回転可能な複数の衝撃子を設け、前記排出口を前記衝撃子の回転方向に対し順次設けられた小口排出口と大口排出口とから構成した合わせガラス板からのガラスの粉砕回収装置が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記の従来技術においては以下の問題点があった。

特開平6−190298号、および特開平7ー155634号公報に記載された発明は、粉砕される対象物が合わせガラスでなく、合わせガラスに適用した場合にガラス部分と中間膜部分とに完全に分離することは難しいと考えられる。

さらに、特開平5ー309655号公報に記載された発明では、別途粉砕処理した後のガラス片が付着した中間膜を水中に浸して膨潤させなければならないので、処理量が少ない場合には有効であるが、処理量が多くなってくると、対応が困難である。

さらにまた、特開平6−219793号公報に記載の発明では、合わせガラスを−10℃以下に冷却するための設備が別途必要となり、設備費等の経費が嵩むという問題を生じるものであった。

本出願人による特開昭56−149340号公報に記載の発明では、回収されたガラス部分については再利用が可能であるが、中間膜部分については、ガラス片がまだ付着して残っている状態であり、再利用できず、産業廃棄物として処分せざるを得なかった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、上記問題点の解決を図る、即ち、簡易な構成にして廃合わせガラスを破砕した後に粉砕して、ガラス片と中間膜片とに分離し、回収利用できることを目的としたものであり、合わせガラスを粉々に粉砕する粉砕機の前段に、合わせガラスをある程度の大きさに破砕する破砕機を設けることによって、自動車用フロントガラス、建築物用窓ガラス等に使用し不要となった廃合わせガラスを、そのままの状態、即ち、大きなサイズのままで投入し、連続的に処理してガラス片と中間膜片とに分離する装置である。

本発明は、一対のガラスと中間膜からなる合わせガラスを破砕する破砕手段が、ロール面に突起および/または切断刃を設け隣設させた一組の回転可能な金属ロールである破砕機と、該破砕機によってガラス部分が亀甲状に割られた後、せん断力が加えられ、中間膜である透明樹脂部分が伸ばされ、引き裂かれ、あるいは破られた合わせガラスを投入するための上部投入口を設けた円筒状ケーシングの内部に、高速回転可能な複数のハンマーからなる破砕手段を備え、破砕手段により破砕されたガラス片と中間膜片との混合物を排出するスリット状の排出口を円筒状ケーシングの下部に設けた粉砕機と、該粉砕機の下方に設けたメッシュを有する振動篩とからなり、振動篩のメッシュ上に落下させたガラス片と中間膜片との混合物を該振動篩の作動によりガラス片と中間膜片とに分離させることによって、合わせガラスをガラス片と中間膜片とに分離して回収する装置である。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の装置は、例えば、図1に示すように、破砕機1と粉砕機2を上下に設け、破砕機1の上部に、合わせガラス5の搬送用のコンベア4を配置した構成としている。
