【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は新規な金属加工油組成物
に関し、さらに詳しくは、特にアルミニウム合金のプレ
ス潤滑剤として好適であり、塗布作業性,潤滑性,脱脂
性,溶接性などについて従来の固体皮膜型潤滑剤以上の
性能を有する金属加工油組成物に関するものである。

【従来の技術】近年、自動車,鉄道車両,船舶,航空機
などの部品の素材として、軽量化による省燃費化の観点
から高強度アルミニウム合金が賞用されている。そし
て、この高強度アルミニウム合金は塑性加工性に劣るた
め、加工潤滑剤として、通常アクリル酸ポリマー系やワ
ックス系の固体皮膜型潤滑剤が用いられている。しかし
ながら、該固体皮膜型潤滑剤は、量産加工性に劣る上、
(1)板製造工程において新たに塗布システム(ロール
コーターと乾燥工程)を設ける必要がある、(2)接触
剥離、ブロッキングにより部分的に塗膜が剥離しやす
く、修復性がないため、プレス不良の原因となる、
(3)脱脂された膜が槽内に浮遊する結果、脱脂液寿命
を低下させる、(4)油系に比べて溶接不良を起こしや
すい(特に樹脂皮膜型)、など塗布作業性,潤滑性,脱
脂性及び溶接性についても問題があった。このような従
来の固体皮膜型潤滑剤が有する問題を解決し、量産加工
性に優れる低粘土の液状プレス油が開発できれば、自動
車車体などへアルミニウム材を適用することによる省エ
ネルギー化などで産業界に寄与することができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明は、このような
事情のもとで、特にアルミニウム合金のプレス潤滑剤と
して好適であり、塗布作業性,潤滑性,脱脂性,溶接性
などについて従来の固体皮膜型潤滑剤以上の性能をもつ
量産加工性に優れる低粘度の金属加工油組成物を提供す
ることを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明者らは、前記の好
ましい性質を有する金属加工油組成物を開発すべく鋭意
研究を重ねた結果、n−α−オレフィンと過塩基性スル
ホネートとを特定の割合で含有する低粘度の組成物によ
り、その目的を達成しうること見出した。本発明は、か
かる知見に基づいて完成したものである。すなわち、本
発明は、(A)炭素数10〜20のn−α−オレフィン
30重量%以上及び(B)全塩基価が450〜600m
g・KOH/gの過塩基性スルホネートを組成物の全塩
基価が12.5〜200mg・KOH/gになるように含
有すること特徴とする温度40℃における動粘度が20
cSt以下の金属加工油組成物を提供するものである。
また、本発明は、(A)n−α−オレフィン10重量%
以上及び(B)全塩基価が350mg・KOH/g以上
の過塩基性スルホネートを組成物の全塩基価が12.5m
g・KOH/g以上になるように含有する、n−α−オ
レフィンの含有量(重量%)と金属加工油組成物の全塩
基価(mg・KOH/g)との積の数値が1200以
上、温度40℃における動粘度が20cSt以下の金属
加工油組成物を提供するものである。
【0005】本発明の組成物において、(A)成分とし
て用いられるn−α−オレフィンとしては、炭素数10
〜20のものが好適である。炭素数10未満のものは揮
発性が著しく好ましくなく、一方20を超えるものは凝
固したり、沈澱したりして製品の貯蔵安定性が悪く、好
ましくない。また、その含有量は組成物全量に対して1
0重量%以上、好ましくは30重量%以上であることが
必要である。この含有量が30重量%未満ではプレス加
工時にカジリを生じるおそれがある。該n−α−オレフ
ィンの具体例としては1−デセン,1−ドデセン,1−
テトラデセン,1−ヘキサデセン,1−オクタデセン,
1−エイコセンあるいはこれらの混合物などを好ましく
挙げることができる。これらのn−α−オレフィンは様
々な製法により得られたものを用いることができるが、
例えばエチレンを通常の手段で重合させて得られたエチ
レンオリゴマーを使用することができる。また、(B)
成分として用いられる過塩基性スルホネートは、全塩基
価が350mg・KOH/g以上、好ましは450mg
・KOH/g以上、特に好ましくは450〜600mg
・KOH/gのものである。この全塩基価が450mg
・KOH/g未満のものでは脱脂性や溶接性の不良を招
きやすい。該過塩基性スルホネートとしては、例えばナ
トリウム塩,カルシウム塩,バリウム塩,マグネシウム
塩などがあり、これらは単独で用いてもよいし、二種以
上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。中でもカルシウム塩,
ナトリウム塩が好ましい。また、その使用量は、組成物
の全塩基価が12.5mg・KOH/g以上、好ましくは
12.5〜200mg・KOH/gの範囲になるように選
ばれる。組成物の全塩基価が12.5mg・KOH/g未
満では本発明の目的が充分に達せられない。また、20
0mg・KOH/gを超えると脱脂性や溶接性の不良を
招きやすく、好ましくない。
【0006】本発明の金属加工油組成物には、必要に応
じて鉱油や炭化水素系合成油などの基油を含有させるこ
とができる。該基油としては、温度40℃における動粘
度が1〜1000cStの範囲にあるものが好ましく用
いられる。このうち、鉱油としては、種々のものを挙げ
ることができ、例えばパラフィン基系原油,中間基系原
油又はナフテン基系原油を常圧蒸留するか、あるいは常
圧蒸留の残渣油を減圧蒸留して得られる留出油、又はこ
れらを常法に従って精製することによって得られる精製
油、例えば溶剤精製油,水添精製油,脱ロウ処理油,白
土処理油などを挙げることができる。一方、炭化水素系
合成油としては、例えば低分子量ポリブテン,低分子量
ポリプロピレン,炭素数8〜14のα−オレフィンオリ
ゴマー及びこれらの水素化物、さらにはアルキルベンゼ
ン,アルキルナフタレンなどが挙げられる。これらの鉱
油や合成油は一種用いてもよいし、二種以上を組み合わ
せて用いてもよい。また、温度40℃における動粘度が
30〜800cStの高度精製基油、例えば水素化精製
法により硫黄分が500ppm以下、好ましくは100
ppm以下である鉱油及び/又はオレフィンの(共)重
合体を20〜60重量%含有させると、加工物のシミや
錆の発生が抑制され好ましい。
【0007】本発明の金属加工油組成物は、温度40℃
における動粘度が20cSt以下であることが必要であ
る。この動粘度が20cStを超えると板プレス加工で
の切板のハンドリング性やプレス後の脱脂性が低下す
る。また、該組成物は、n−α−オレフィンの含有量
(重量%)と組成物の全塩基価(mg・KOH/g)と
の積の数値が1200以上であるものが好適である。こ
の積の数値が1200未満のものでは本発明の目的が充
分に達せられない。さらに、本発明の金属加工油組成物
には、本発明の目的が損なわれない範囲で、所望に応
じ、例えば各種のアルコール,脂肪酸類,エステル類,
ジエステル類,多価エステル類,油脂類,硫化油脂類,
硫化エステル類,硫化オレフィン,塩素化パラフィン,
リン酸エステル,亜リン酸エステル,ジチオリン酸塩
(ジチオリン酸亜鉛,ジチオリン酸モリブデンなど)、
ジチオカルバミン酸塩(ジチオカルバミン酸モリブデン
など)などの公知の油性剤や極圧剤を添加することがで
き、さらには各種公知の乳化剤,防錆剤,腐食防止剤,
消泡剤などを適宜添加することもできる。本発明の金属
加工油組成物は、塗布作業性,潤滑性,脱脂性,溶接性
などの点で従来の固体皮膜型潤滑剤以上の性能を有し、
特にアルミニウム合金用プレス油として好適である。

【実施例】次に実施例により本発明をさらに詳細に説明
するが、本発明はこれらの例によってなんら限定される
ものではない。なお、加工油の性能は以下に示す要領で
評価した。 (1)ドロービード引抜力 絞りビードに相当する突起を設けたブロックとそれに対
向するグループを有するブロックとの間に試験片を挟
み、油圧により所定の押し付け力を与え、試験片を引き
抜くときの引抜き力を指標としてプレス成形性を評価し
た。 使用した材料: 5182−O(神戸製鋼製)、25×
300mm、短冊状 ビード形状( 先端部R): 2mm ビード高さ(張り出し): 3mm 押し付け荷重 : 400kg、1000kg 引抜き速度 : 100mm/分 また、油剤はガーゼに浸透させて塗布した。塗布量は油
状タイプで1.5g/m 2 、ワックスコート剤で9.0g/
2 である。
【0009】(2)脱脂性 リドリンSD400、3重量%溶液に60℃で2分間浸
漬した後の水ぬれ率を求め、次に示す判定基準に従って
評価した。 ◎: 水ぬれ率が90%以上 ○: 水ぬれ率が90%未満70%以上 △: 水ぬれ率が70%未満40%以上 ×: 水ぬれ率が40%未満
【0010】実施例1〜11及び比較例1〜11 第1表に示す組成の金属加工油組成物を調製し、その物
性及び性能を求めた。結果を第2表に示す。

【発明の効果】本発明の金属加工油組成物は、塗布作業
性,潤滑性,脱脂性,溶接性などについて従来の固体皮
膜型潤滑剤以上の性能を有し、特にアルミニウム合金の
プレス潤滑油として好適に用いられる。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 (A)炭素数10〜20のn−α−オレ
    フィン30重量%以上及び(B)全塩基価が450〜6
    00mg・KOH/gの過塩基性スルホネートを組成物
    の全塩基価が12.5〜200mg・KOH/gになるよ
    うに含有することを特徴とする温度40℃における動粘
    度が20cSt以下の金属加工油組成物。
  2. 【請求項2】 (A)n−α−オレフィン10重量%以
    上及び(B)全塩基価が350mg・KOH/g以上の
    過塩基性スルホネートを組成物の全塩基価が12.5mg
    ・KOH/g以上になるように含有する、n−α−オレ
    フィンの含有量(重量%)と金属加工油組成物の全塩基
    価(mg・KOH/g)との積の数値が1200以上、
    温度40℃における動粘度が20cSt以下の金属加工
    油組成物。
  3. 【請求項3】 さらに温度40℃における動粘度が30
    〜800cSt、硫黄分が500ppm以下の鉱油及び
    /又はオレフィンの(共)重合体を20〜60重量%含
    有する請求項1又は2記載の金属加工油組成物。
  4. 【請求項4】 アルミニウム合金用プレス油として用い
    られる請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の金属加工油
    組成物。
