Abstract
Description

Claims (19)
- 1つ以上の燃焼室と、前記燃焼室内の燃料の燃焼に応答して回転可能な出力軸とを含む内燃機関を作動させるための制御装置であって、
プロセッサと、
前記プロセッサに結合されたメモリであって、前記プロセッサによって実行されたとき、
1つ以上の作動入力から前記内燃機関の作動パラメータを決定する動作と、
決定された前記作動パラメータに基づいて、ガソリン直接噴射(GDI)燃料噴射器又は燃料層別噴射(FSI)燃料噴射器の少なくとも1つを含む、圧縮空気源と流体連通する1つ以上の空気噴射装置を通して前記内燃機関の前記1つ以上の燃焼室に噴射する圧縮空気の量を決定する動作と、
前記1つ以上の燃焼室の対応する1つ内に所定の燃焼容積を生み出すようにして、前記制御装置によって決定された量の圧縮空気のみを前記内燃機関の前記1つ以上の燃焼室に供給し、直接噴射するように、1つ以上の前記空気噴射装置の前記GDI燃料噴射器又は前記FSI燃料噴射器の少なくとも1つを作動させる動作と、
前記1つ以上の燃焼室に燃料を直接噴射するように、前記1つ以上の空気噴射装置とは別の1つ以上の燃料噴射装置を作動させる動作とを前記制御装置に実施させる、コンピュータ実行可能命令を含む、メモリとを備えることを特徴とする制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の制御装置であって、前記コンピュータ実行可能命令が、さらに、前記制御装置に
前記内燃機関の1つ以上の燃焼室に噴射する燃料の量を決定する動作とを実行させることを特徴とする制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の制御装置であって、前記内燃機関が、複数の燃焼室を画定する複数のシリンダ及びピストンを含み、前記内燃機関の1つ以上の燃焼室に噴射する空気の量を決定することは、互いに独立して前記複数のシリンダの各々内に噴射する空気の量を決定することを含むことを特徴とする制御装置。
- 請求項1に記載の制御装置であって、前記1つ以上の燃焼室に空気を直接噴射するように1つ以上の空気噴射装置の少なくとも1つを作動させ、前記1つ以上の燃焼室に燃料を直接噴射するように1つ以上の燃料噴射装置を作動させることが、前記内燃機関の前記出力軸の回転を反転させることを特徴とする制御装置。
- 請求項1に記載の制御装置であって、前記コンピュータ実行可能命令が、さらに、前記1つ以上の燃焼室の少なくとも1つに空気を直接噴射するように1つ以上の空気噴射装置の少なくとも1つを作動させ、前記1つ以上の燃焼室の前記少なくとも1つに燃料を直接噴射するように1つ以上の燃料噴射装置を作動させ、前記燃焼室の前記少なくとも1つ内の前記燃料に点火することによって、前記制御装置に前記内燃機関の前記出力軸の回転を開始する動作を実行させることを特徴とする制御装置。
- 請求項1に記載の制御装置であって、前記圧縮空気源と、前記圧縮空気源と吸気マニホールドとの間の圧力を調整するように構成された空気圧調整器と、の間に設けられた第1空気圧センサ、及び、前記空気圧調整器と前記吸気マニホールドとの間に設けられ、前記吸気マニホールド内の空気圧を検出するように構成された第2の空気圧センサから入力を受け取るように構成されている、ことを特徴とする制御装置。
- 請求項1に記載の制御装置であって、空気を前記1つ以上の燃焼室に噴射するように1つ以上の空気噴射装置の少なくとも1つを作動させることは、前記1つ以上の空気噴射装置の対応する1つを所定の時間の間開くことを含むことを特徴とする制御装置。
- 請求項6に記載の制御装置であって、前記内燃機関の前記1つ以上の燃焼室に噴射する空気の量を決定することは、1つ以上のセンサからの前記受け取られた1つ以上の入力に少なくとも部分的に基づくことを特徴とする制御装置。
- コンピュータ制御内燃機関システムであって、
出力軸、
1つ以上の燃焼室、
前記1つ以上の燃焼室内の圧力上昇を前記出力軸の回転に変換するように構成されたエネルギー変換機構、
空気を圧縮する圧縮機、
前記1つ以上の燃焼室の対応する1つ及び前記圧縮機に動作可能に連結され、前記出力軸から機械的に分離され、遮られることなく、前記圧縮機によって圧縮された空気を前記1つ以上の燃焼室内に噴射するように構成され、ガソリン直接噴射(GDI)燃料噴射器又は燃料層別噴射(FSI)燃料噴射器の少なくとも1つを含む、1つ以上の空気管を介して前記圧縮機と流体連通する1つ以上の空気噴射装置、及び、
前記1つ以上の燃焼室の対応する1つに動作可能に連結された、前記1つ以上の空気噴射装置とは別の1つ以上の燃料噴射装置、
を含む内燃機関と、
前記1つ以上の空気噴射装置に動作可能に結合された制御装置であって、
1つ以上の作動入力から前記内燃機関の作動パラメータを決定し、
決定された前記作動パラメータに基づいて、1つ以上の空気噴射装置の前記GDI燃料噴射器又は前記FSI燃料噴射器の少なくとも1つを通して前記内燃機関の1つ以上の燃焼室に噴射する、前記圧縮機からの圧縮空気の量を決定し、
前記1つ以上の燃焼室の対応する1つ内に所定の燃焼容積を生み出すようにして、前記量の圧縮空気を前記内燃機関の前記1つ以上の燃焼室に直接噴射するように1つ以上の空気噴射装置のの前記GDI燃料噴射器又は前記FSI燃料噴射器の少なくとも1つを作動させるように構成される、制御装置とを備えることを特徴とするコンピュータ制御内燃機関システム。 - 請求項9に記載のコンピュータ制御内燃機関システムであって、前記制御装置が、前記1つ以上の空気噴射装置を互いに独立して作動させるように構成されることを特徴とするコンピュータ制御内燃機関システム。
- 請求項9に記載のコンピュータ制御内燃機関システムであって、前記制御装置が、互いに独立して前記1つ以上の空気噴射装置の少なくとも1つを所定の時間の間開いて維持することによって、前記内燃機関の前記1つ以上の燃焼室に圧縮空気を直接噴射するように1つ以上の空気噴射装置の少なくとも1つを作動させるように構成されることを特徴とするコンピュータ制御内燃機関システム。
- 請求項9に記載のコンピュータ制御内燃機関システムであって、前記制御装置が、前記1つ以上の燃焼室に燃料を噴射するように前記1つ以上の燃料噴射装置を互いに独立して作動させるように構成されることを特徴とするコンピュータ制御内燃機関システム。
- 請求項9に記載のコンピュータ制御内燃機関システムであって、前記内燃機関が、前記1つ以上の燃焼室の対応する1つに動作可能に連結され、前記出力軸から機械的に分離される、1つ以上の排気弁を含み、前記制御装置が、前記1つ以上の排気弁を、互いに独立して開位置と閉位置の間で作動させるように構成されることを特徴とするコンピュータ制御内燃機関システム。
- 請求項9に記載のコンピュータ制御内燃機関システムであって、
前記内燃機関が、
前記圧縮機と吸気マニホールドの間の圧力を調整するように構成され、前記内燃機関の作動中に所定の圧力に自動的に調整可能である空気圧調整器と、
前記内燃機関に動作可能に連結され、前記内燃機関の作動に関する1つ以上の状態を検出するように構成された1つ以上のセンサであって、前記圧縮機と前記空気圧調整器との間に設けられ、前記圧縮機の出力空気圧を検出するように構成された第1空気圧センサ、及び、前記空気圧調整器と前記吸気マニホールドとの間に設けられ、前記吸気マニホールド内の空気圧を検出するように構成された第2の空気圧センサ、を含む1つ以上のセンサと、
を含む、
ことを特徴とするコンピュータ制御内燃機関システム。 - 請求項14に記載のコンピュータ制御内燃機関システムであって、前記制御装置が、前記1つ以上のセンサから受け取られた信号に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記1つ以上の空気噴射装置又は1つ以上の排気弁の少なくとも1つを作動させるように構成されることを特徴とするコンピュータ制御内燃機関システム。
- 請求項15に記載のコンピュータ制御内燃機関システムであって、前記内燃機関が、1つ以上のシリンダと、1つ以上のピストンであって、前記1つ以上のシリンダの対応する1つ内に移動可能に位置付けられ、前記シリンダ内の前記ピストンの移動が前記出力軸の回転を生み出すように前記出力軸に動作可能に連結される、1つ以上のピストンとを含み、
前記1つ以上のセンサの少なくとも1つが、前記出力軸の配向を検出するように構成されることを特徴とするコンピュータ制御内燃機関システム。 - 内燃機関を作動させる方法であって、
1つ以上の作動入力から前記内燃機関の作動パラメータを決定することと、
決定された前記作動パラメータに基づいて、ガソリン直接噴射(GDI)燃料噴射器又は燃料層別噴射(FSI)燃料噴射器の少なくとも1つを含む、圧縮空気源と流体連通する1つ以上の空気噴射装置を通して前記内燃機関の1つ以上の燃焼室に噴射する圧縮空気の量を決定することと、
前記1つ以上の燃焼室に動作可能に連結された1つ以上の空気噴射装置の少なくとも1つを作動させることによって決定された前記量の圧縮空気を前記内燃機関の前記1つ以上の燃焼室に噴射することにより、前記1つ以上の燃焼室の対応する1つ内に所定の燃焼容積を生み出すことと、
前記1つ以上の空気噴射装置とは別の1つ以上の燃料噴射装置を通して、所定量の燃料を前記内燃機関の前記1つ以上の燃焼室に噴射することと、
前記燃料を前記1つ以上の燃焼室内で燃焼させ、それによって前記内燃機関の出力軸を回転させることとを含むことを特徴とする内燃機関を作動させる方法。 - 請求項17に記載の方法であって、前記量の圧縮空気を前記内燃機関の前記1つ以上の燃焼室に噴射することは、前記1つ以上の空気噴射装置の少なくとも1つを所定の時間の間開いて維持し、前記圧縮空気を遮られることなく前記1つ以上の燃焼室に流すことを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項17に記載の方法であって、前記内燃機関の前記出力軸から連結解除された1つ以上の排気弁を作動させることを含むことを特徴とする方法。
