Abstract
Description
-50℃~-30℃、好ましくは-45℃~-35℃のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有するポリマーナノドメインから成る第1の不連続相、及び
前記第1の相よりも低いガラス転移温度(Tg)、好ましくは-50℃未満、より好ましくは-60℃未満のTgを有する、マトリックスと称される第2の連続ポリマー相であって、第1の相は第2の相中に分散されている、第2の連続ポリマー相。
コアは、-50℃~-30℃、好ましくは-45℃~-35℃のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有する相互侵入高分子網目(IPN)から形成され、
シェルは、乾燥後に粒子を合着させるのに充分に低いTgを有するポリマーであって、このTgは、前記コアのTgよりも低く、好ましくは-50℃未満、より好ましくは-60℃未満である、ポリマーから形成される。
エマルジョン中での重合によって、好ましくは-30℃よりも高い、より特には-20℃よりも高いTgを有する第1の架橋されたポリマー(P1)の水性分散体を形成することと、
架橋剤あり又はなしで、第1の架橋されたポリマー中へモノマーを組み込み、第1のポリマーは、その中に組み込まれたモノマーによって膨潤し、続いて重合して、-40℃未満、好ましくは-50℃未満のTgを有する相互侵入高分子網目の第2のポリマーを形成することと、
によって合成することができる。
ラテックスのポリマー粒子のコアは、第1の不連続相を形成し、-50℃~-30℃のTgを有するポリマーナノドメインとなり、したがって、これらのナノドメインは、上述したラテックスの粒子のコアと同じ特性を有し、及び
低Tgシェルのために、ラテックスのポリマー粒子は、合着し、続いてマトリックスと称される、第1の相の前記ナノドメインを囲む第2の連続ポリマー相を形成する。
ポリ(ビニルブチラール)(PVB)及びポリ(エチレン-酢酸ビニル)(EVA)から選択される材料の第1のシートを供給する工程:
前記第1のシートの面の一方に対して、コアシェル構造を有するポリマー粒子を含むラテックスを適用する工程であって、
コアは、-50℃~-30℃、好ましくは-45℃~-35℃のTgを有する相互侵入高分子網目(IPN)から形成され、及び
シェルは、前記コアよりも低いTg、好ましくは-50℃未満、より好ましくは-60℃未満のTgを有するポリマーから形成される、
工程、
ラテックスを乾燥して、接着ナノコンポジット層を形成する工程、
得られた接着ナノコンポジット層に対して、ポリ(ビニルブチラール)(PVB)及びポリ(エチレン-酢酸ビニル)(EVA)から選択される材料の第2のシートを適用する工程。
第1のガラスシート、
第2のガラスシート、
第1及び第2のガラスシートの間に配置された、上記で述べた中間層、
を備えた積層グレージングユニットにも関する。
乗り物内の人のプライバシーを可能とするためか、若しくはそうでなければ乗り物の運転者が太陽光でまぶしくなることを防止するためか、若しくは単に審美的な効果のために、その面の大部分が着色されてよく、並びに/又は、
積層グレージングユニットをヘッドアップディスプレイ(HUD)システム用のスクリーンとして用いることができるように、積層グレージングユニットの上部から下部に向かってウェッジ形状に減少する断面を有してよく、並びに/又は、
太陽の赤外放射線に起因して乗り物内部の温度が上昇することを制限し、乗り物の乗客又は建築物の居住者の快適さを向上させるために、赤外放射線に対するフィルター機能を有する粒子を含んでいてもよい。
Claims (16)
- 下記を含む接着ナノコンポジット層によって組み立てられている、ポリ(ビニルブチラール)(PVB)及びポリ(エチレン-酢酸ビニル)(EVA)から選択される材料の2つの外層を備えている、積層ガラス用中間層:
-50℃~-30℃、好ましくは-45℃~-35℃のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有するポリマーナノドメインから成る第1の不連続相、及び
前記第1の相よりも低いガラス転移温度(Tg)、好ましくは-50℃未満、より好ましくは-60℃未満のTgを有する、マトリックスと称される第2の連続ポリマー相であって、前記第1の相が前記第2の相中に分散されている、第2の連続ポリマー相。 - 前記2つの外層が、ポリ(ビニルブチラール)(PVB)の層であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の積層ガラス用中間層。
- 前記第1の相のナノドメインは、架橋されている第1のポリマー(P1)と、架橋されている又は架橋されていない第2のポリマー(P2)とを含む相互侵入高分子網目(IPN)から形成さている、請求項1又は2に記載の中間層。
- 前記第1の相を形成する前記ナノドメインは、10~1000nm、好ましくは20~400nm、理想的には30~250nmの数平均相当径を有する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の中間層。
- 前記接着ナノコンポジット層は、5~50マイクロメートル、好ましくは10~30マイクロメートルの厚さを有する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の中間層。
- 前記第2のポリマー(P2)は、架橋されていない、請求項3に記載の中間層。
- 前記第1のポリマー(P1)は、-30℃よりも高い、好ましくは-20℃よりも高いTgを有する、請求項3~6のいずれか一項に記載の中間層。
- 前記第2のポリマー(P2)は、-50℃未満、好ましくは-60℃未満のTgを有する、請求項3~6のいずれか一項に記載の中間層。
- 前記第1のポリマー(P1)のTgと前記第2のポリマー(P2)のTgとの差が、10℃~60℃、好ましくは20℃~50℃である、請求項7又は8に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマーP1及びP2は、少なくとも1つのアクリルモノマーを含むアクリルコポリマーである、請求項3~9のいずれか一項に記載の中間層。
- 前記第1の相の屈折率(n1)と前記第2の相の屈折率(n2)との差が、0.2未満、好ましくは0.1未満、及び理想的には0.05未満である、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の中間層。
- 前記接着ナノコンポジット層は、前記2つの外層と直接接触している、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載の中間層。
- 前記第1の相の体積の前記第2の相の体積に対する比が、20/80~80/20、好ましくは30/70~70/30である、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載の中間層。
- 積層ガラス用中間層を製造する方法であって、以下の工程を含む方法:
ポリ(ビニルブチラール)(PVB)及びポリ(エチレン-酢酸ビニル)(EVA)から選択される材料の第1のシートを供給する工程:
前記第1のシートの面の一方に対して、コアシェル構造を有するポリマー粒子を含むラテックスを適用する工程であって、
前記コアは、-50℃~-30℃、好ましくは-45℃~-35℃のTgを有する相互侵入高分子網目(IPN)から形成され、及び
前記シェルは、前記コアよりも低いTg、好ましくは-50℃未満、より好ましくは-60℃未満のTgを有するポリマーから形成される、
工程、
前記ラテックスを乾燥して、接着ナノコンポジット層を形成する工程、
得られた前記接着ナノコンポジット層に対して、ポリ(ビニルブチラール)(PVB)及びポリ(エチレン-酢酸ビニル)(EVA)から選択される材料の第2のシートを適用する工程。 - 前記乾燥工程は、周囲温度で、及び/又は40℃~120℃、好ましくは60℃~100℃の温度でのオーブンにおいて行われる、請求項14に記載の積層ガラス用中間層を製造する方法。
- 第1のガラスシート、
第2のガラスシート、
前記第1及び前記第2のガラスシートの間に配置されている、請求項1~13のいずれか一項に記載の中間層、
を備えている、積層グレージングユニット。
