Abstract
Description
本出願は、それぞれ2016年7月13日及び2016年7月15日付けで出願された米国仮特許出願第62/361672号及び同第62/363019号(その内容は引用することにより本明細書の一部をなす)の優先権を主張するものである。
表1に詳述される組成物を有する車体フィラーの第1のセットを作製する。
表2に詳述される組成物を有する車体フィラーの第2のセットを作製する。
本発明のフィラー配合物の様々な実施形態の重ね剪断強度を、ASTM 1002-10に従い様々な基材について試験する。触媒反応後の20分で重ね剪断測定値をとる。これは手作業での研磨にとって一般的な時間であり、「面引き」、すなわち、フィラーが十分に付着して欠け落ち又は層間剥離の兆候のない継目の無い縁となる時間と深く関係するものである。硬化のこの強度具合に至るまで研磨することができないため、自動車車体修理工場の技術者にとってこれは修理プロセスの最も重要な部分となる。
実施例3のプロセスを、樹脂Aと樹脂Dとの配合物を通じて全飽和度が79%である実施例2の配合物について繰り返す。得られる配合物は、表3に詳述されるように実施例1に匹敵する付着性結果を実現する。

- 車体を修理する方法であって、
酸及び酸無水物モノマー総含有物に対して25分子パーセントと100分子パーセントの間の不飽和率を有するポリエステル樹脂を含むポリエステル樹脂配合物の部分Aを、部分Bの開始剤パッケージと混合させ、前記部分A又は前記部分Bの少なくとも一方がミクロスフェアを含有して硬化性混合物を形成することと、
前記混合物を、修理が必要な前記車体の基材に塗布することと、
前記混合物を周囲条件に単独で又は熱源と併せて曝すことで、前記混合物の硬化を促すことと、
前記混合物を硬化させることで、前記車体を修理する充填材を形成することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記硬化が前記混合物の形成から60分以内に起きる、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記充填材を研磨することを更に含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記研磨を前記混合物の形成から30分以内に行う、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記熱源が存在し、該熱源が赤外線ランプである、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記曝すことにより、前記混合物の温度を37℃~82℃の温度まで上げる、請求項15に記載の方法。
