Abstract
【解決手段】物体取り扱いシステム14は、格子のような構造上で動作可能な多数のロボットの荷積み取り扱いデバイスを備え、構造は、積み重ねられた容器10のヒブ(hive)の上に配置されている平行なトラック22a,22bのセットを備える。容器は、システムによってピッキングされることになる在庫アイテムを含んでいる。単一の格子スペースサイズの複数の容器を、または、複数の格子スペースの単一の容器を運ぶことができる荷積み取り扱いデバイスは、格子上で動作可能であり、コンピュータ化された注文ピッキングユーティリティの制御のもと、容器を取り出して搬送する。

複数の積み重ねられたコンテナの上に格子を形成している、2つの実質的に垂直なレールのセットを具備している物体取り扱いシステムにおいて、スタックの一部分は、前記スタックの残りにおける前記コンテナよりも、より大きな断面エリアの容器を備え、前記取り扱いシステムは、前記積み重ねられたコンテナの上の格子上で動作している複数のロボットの荷積み取り扱いデバイスをさらに備え、どの時点においても、動いている1セットのホイールのみが前記格子に係合されているとき、それによって、前記レールに係合されている前記セットのホイールのみを駆動することによって、前記レールに沿った前記荷積み取り扱いデバイスの、前記格子上の任意のポイントに対する移動を可能にするように、前記荷積み取り扱いデバイスは、ホイール上に据え付けられているボディを備え、第1のセットのホイールは、前記第1のセットのレールのうちの少なくとも2つのレールに係合するように構成されており、第2のセットのホイールは、前記第2のセットのレールのうちの少なくとも2つのレールに係合するように構成されており、前記第1のセットのホイールは、前記第2のセットのホイールに関して、独立して移動可能であり駆動可能であり、前記格子上で動作可能な少なくとも1つのロボットの取り扱いデバイスは、大きなコンテナを備えている前記スタックの前記一部分内から、コンテナを持ち上げて、移動させるためのサイズとされている物体取り扱いシステム。

Claims (7)
- 複数の積み重ねられたコンテナの上に格子を形成している、2つの実質的に垂直なレールのセットを具備している物体取り扱いシステムにおいて、スタックの一部分は、前記スタックの残りにおける前記コンテナよりも、より大きな断面エリアの容器を備え、前記取り扱いシステムは、前記積み重ねられたコンテナの上の格子上で動作している複数のロボットの荷積み取り扱いデバイスをさらに備え、どの時点においても、動いている1セットのホイールのみが前記格子に係合されているとき、それによって、前記レールに係合されている前記セットのホイールのみを駆動することによって、前記レールに沿った前記荷積み取り扱いデバイスの、前記格子上の任意のポイントに対する移動を可能にするように、前記荷積み取り扱いデバイスは、ホイール上に据え付けられているボディを備え、第1のセットのホイールは、前記第1のセットのレールのうちの少なくとも2つのレールに係合するように構成されており、第2のセットのホイールは、前記第2のセットのレールのうちの少なくとも2つのレールに係合するように構成されており、前記第1のセットのホイールは、前記第2のセットのホイールに関して、独立して移動可能であり駆動可能であり、前記格子上で動作可能な少なくとも1つのロボットの取り扱いデバイスは、大きなコンテナを備えている前記スタックの前記一部分内から、コンテナを持ち上げて、移動させるためのサイズとされている物体取り扱いシステム。
- 前記荷積み取り扱いデバイスは、複数の高さのコンテナを持ち上げて搬送することができるボディを備える請求項1記載の物体取り扱いシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの荷積み取り扱いデバイスは、おおよそ1×2、2×2、2×3、または、3×3の格子スペースにわたるボディを備え、前記格子スペースは、実質的に垂直なレールのセットのスペースによって規定されている請求項1または2記載の物体取り扱いシステム。

- 請求項1ないし4のうちのいずれか1つにおいて説明しているような物体取り扱いシステムにおける使用のためのロボット荷積み取り扱いデバイス。
