Abstract
Description
<充電システムの全体構成>
図1は、充電スタンドによる車両のプラグイン充電が変換アダプタを用いて実施される状況を示す図である。図1を参照して、車両1のプラグイン充電時には、車両1と充電スタンド2とが充電ケーブル3および変換アダプタ4によって電気的に接続される。
図3は、実施の形態1における充電ケーブル3およびケーブル側コネクタ41の構成を模式的に示す斜視図である。図2および図3を参照して、変換アダプタ4のケーブル側コネクタ41は、充電ケーブル3の充電コネクタ31と嵌合するように筒状に形成された筒部410と、筒部410内に収容された複数の端子とを含む。図3に示す例では、複数の端子は、信号をやり取りするための通信端子411と、充電電力を受けるための電力端子412と、接地のための接地端子413とが筒部410とを含む。ただし、筒部410に配置される端子の種類および個数は、特に限定されるものではない。
図4は、実施の形態1における変換アダプタ4の制御を示すフローチャートである。このフローチャートは、たとえば、コントローラ40が起動している場合に予め定められた周期毎に繰り返し実行される。各ステップは、コントローラ40によるソフトウェア処理により実現されるが、コントローラ40内に作製されたハードウェア(電気回路)により実現されてもよい。後述する図7のフローチャートについても同様である。以下、ステップをSと略す。
実施の形態1では、リッド44およびロック装置45を含む機構を変換アダプタ4に設ける構成を説明した。しかし、変換アダプタ4の両端に設けられたコネクタの接続順序を一意に規定できるのであれば、変換アダプタに追加する機構の構成は、これに限定されるものではない。実施の形態2においては、可動ピンを追加要素とする構成について説明する。
Claims (5)
- 充電設備から延びる充電ケーブルと、車両に設けられたインレットとの間に接続されるように構成された変換アダプタであって、
前記充電ケーブルに接続されるように構成された第1端と、
前記インレットに接続されるように構成された第2端とを備え、
前記第1端は、
前記充電設備から前記充電ケーブルを介して充電電力の供給を受ける電力端子と、
前記電力端子と前記充電ケーブルとの接続を機械的に防止可能に構成された接続防止機構とを含み、
前記接続防止機構は、前記第2端と前記インレットとが非接続である場合、前記電力端子と前記充電ケーブルとの接続を防止し、前記第2端と前記インレットとが接続された場合に前記電力端子と前記充電ケーブルとの接続防止を解除する、変換アダプタ。 - 前記接続防止機構は、
前記電力端子を覆うことにより前記電力端子と前記充電ケーブルとの接続を防止するリッドと、
前記電力端子が前記リッドにより覆われた状態が維持されるように前記リッドを施錠するロック装置とを含む、請求項1に記載の変換アダプタ。 - 前記接続防止機構は、
前記電力端子と前記充電ケーブルとの接触を阻害することにより前記電力端子と前記充電ケーブルとの接続を防止する可動ピンと、
前記可動ピンを駆動することによって、前記電力端子と前記充電ケーブルとが接触可能な状態と、前記電力端子と前記充電ケーブルとの接触が阻害された状態とを切り替える駆動装置とを含む、請求項1に記載の変換アダプタ。 - 前記第1端は、第1の充電規格に適合し、
前記第2端は、前記第1の充電規格とは異なる第2の充電規格に適合し、
前記変換アダプタは、前記第1の充電規格と前記第2の充電規格との間で信号の変換処理を行う信号変換部をさらに備える、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の変換アダプタ。 - 前記接続防止機構を制御する制御装置をさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記第2端と前記インレットとの接続を検知したことを表す検知信号を受けるまでは前記電力端子と前記充電ケーブルとの接続を防止し、前記検知信号に応答して前記電力端子と前記充電ケーブルとの接続防止を解除するように、前記接続防止機構を制御する、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の変換アダプタ。
